How do you think she survives? Someone is paying for her care and shelter and it’s sure as hell isn’t her or her mom who dumped her years ago. Nobody but the ultra wealthy can care long term for a disabled, totally dependent mentally ill trainwreck like Ashley. They all become dependent on state benefits.

Ashley would be classified as indignant and disabled, therefore goes to the very top of the heap when it comes to HUD subsidized apartments. They have certain number of apartments specifically for disabled and seniors in regular HUD apartment buildings but in larger areas they have buildings specifically for disabled and elderly. She’s probably qualify for “assisted living” type of facilities that accept Medicaid too, but she would loathe being with elderly and retarded people.

Ironically she’s probably similar to life by Jen, a death fat who ate herself into disability and lived in a HUD subsidized apartment until she finally croaked from being a morbidly obese cheese eating monster. Ashley is the anorexic version of death fat Jen. The state picks up the tab on all these “disabled” people.

My family is looking to get my in-laws into assisted living or some other type of care facility. Beds/studio apartments in these facilities in my area start at $4,500 for one person. Add a second person in the same room? $2,500 more. That's just for a place to sleep and food, any other services like the salon or specialized nursing etc, are extra. Then they need money to buy clothes, toiletries, books to read, electronics, etc. Wifi is probably included, but maybe not.

To put that number into perspective, someone making $100,000/year takes home between $4,500-5,500 a month.

Disabled/senior care is hella expensive and complicated.

It's possible Ashley lives in a place like someone I know, it's a private home with a non-nurse caregiver 24/7. They give out meds, provide a safe environment, feed them, and a doctor comes to them. My friend is paying $1,800 for that, her mom will live there until she dies. But those places are rare and not always all that great.
 
It could just be section-8 and she's in a regular shitty apartment, probably with a visiting caretaker. The wheelchair repunzel thread has a lot of info on how housing works in the states.
 
I've thought for awhile that she might be back with her mom. She was in some sort of facility for a bit, and you used to catch glimpses of it in the background of her photos. During that period, she posted frequently about how much she missed her cat. Wherever she is now, she's back with the cat, and I haven't seen the institutional-looking background lately. I wondered if her mom relented and let her live with her again. Whatever's going on, Ashley has been cagey about it, and she never openly acknowledged being in a home. I assume she just enjoys keeping people guessing.

What abuse is she referring to? I'd love to be able to sympathize with whatever abuse she thinks she endured, if she'd tell us about it. I love that she'll vaguepost about shit like this and want some asspats from whatever weirdos follow her on IG, but never is there any real information included. Does anybody else have the memory of her accusing her stepfather? mother's boyfriend? of repeated sexual abuse when she was very young? I swear she's gone on record saying this.

Tbf, if put into that context, her underage camgirling and weirdass attention-seeking and self-infantilization make some sense as a response to that, not that it excuses it now.

Lots of skellies are known to eat baby food, weirdly enough. For our partially toothless queen, though, I'm sure it hits every corner of her anachan trifecta: low caloric content, easily eaten with missing/no teeth, and satisfies the weird age regressive or innocence/purity seeking tendencies. Such a tiny frail uwu cute waif skellychan she is. I'm not familiar with the skin squares.
 
If she was smart she’d go for the star puffs or the baby cheetos (tomato basil is legit good) before those stale, cardboardy things. Maybe she likes the endless chewing?

Kinda sad though, a normal woman her age would be getting these for her own babies. The purest form of joy, and she’s cucked herself out of it so she can rattle her windchime bones and paper skin at strangers on Instagram.
