Celebrated Musicians You Hate

Everyone famous now. Specially Bad Bunny and Travis Scott. Fuck trap, fuck reggaeton

Accesibility to music is amazing right now but music itself has never been this terrible, like holy shit how fucking bad. So much of it and it all just sucks balls and no one in that industry even plays an instrument anymore, producers are open about not even knowing any music theory. Its all slop

When I sit down and listen to Queen albums, I still enjoy them. They are just overused in media.
I think that goes for a good deal of classic rock: Very good but way overused to the point of ad nauseum, especially the hard rock hits of the '70s and '80s.

At this point, there are very few genres where you need to have talent at all. I think more traditional metal and rock genres and maybe some psychadelic rock and jazz fusion have genuinely talented musicians, even if I am not into their music. Everything from country to rap to pop music is full of industry plants with zero talent and basically some producer being the mastermind behind all the music, from the lyrics to the composition. Hell, even rock and metal has some as well . I don't know how you can listen to popular music today and call it anything other than shit.

@Geddy Lee's Fee and See Could't quote your post whatsoever
The Beatles, any modern indie/alternative band. The entire modern country, pop and rap genres. Like, I don't need to listen to fucking classical music all the time but how they get away with releasing the same fucking song over and over again is beyond me.

I love early Dream Theater stuff, but they really went to shit after Kevin Moore left. Not immediatey, but after Metropolis:Scenes from a Memory, they focused WAYYY to much on the technical aspects of their music and not enough on making it sound congruent.

Punk rock is absolute dogshit. No meaningful lyrics (or at least fun or interesting lyrics), no musical talent and it's full of retarded shitlibs. No thanks.

Lady Gaga, Beyonce, Taylor Swift and every single female pop singer for making shit music that led up to the creation of industry plants like Billie Ellish and Justin Bieber.

Sadly, the music died with this song

Don't get me wrong, there are still some good titles in less established genres and some catchy pop song here and there. However, the mainstream pop music culture went downhill after this particular song. 80s and 90s pop and especially dance music was so full of love, energy, progress, evolution, hope and freedom.
This title is a worthy farewell to the golden years and the indroduction of dispassionate, plastic robot music made for robots that lose themselves while trying to fit in in a society where nobody even knows what fitting in really means.

Beyonce. I don't get it. Vapid trash. Now she's LARPing as a country singer. I get that she's basic bitch normie music for basic bitches and they need music too. But damn, I'm glad I'm not a basic bitch normie. Otherwise I'd like this brain rotting pabulum.

Rihanna's superior at least she's talented new music is somewhat original sue me i like some mainstream music
Blake Shelton is the prime example of someone who repeatedly sells out is clearly capable of making great country music but makes all this ****** pop country God's country an old where there's some of his better songs

I don't HATE them, but I feel strongly enough to whinge about 'em:

The Sinatra family (Frank, Frank Jr. and Nancy) were as bland as overpriced bran cereal. I'm not really on the bandwagon that Sinatra Sr. was backed by the Mob; I don't think it would make any difference; I'm more of the opinion that the majority of people who religiously listen to Sinatra, are the same boring fuckers who play the same few songs by The Beatles, either because their taste in music is bland in of itself, or they make out they listen to them, just to seem cooler than they are. The same can applied to Nirvana "fans".

@Sargon's wife's son Speaking of "majority", in my comment above, does anyone but me ponder about why Rihanna is the only Barbadian musician to be internationally known?

Última edición:
Harry Styles. Gay name, gay image, he's the umpteenth "surviving member" that probably always exists so that they can keep milking the fangirls of dead bands; and he's not at all this super desirable hot guy like they somehow psyoped the normie girls into thinking; he's an absolute mutt with atrocious tattoos. The most stereotypical "sexy man on a magazine cover" type of guy is 10 times more attractive than Hairy Spoils.

Oh and men who wear dresses for publicity should unironically be stoned to death.

I'm fan of 90s Hip Hop, but Tupac, his albums go on for way too long. I think if he trimmed his discography to 45 minutes each album, it would be much more of fulfilling listen, but as it stands, I can't listen to it as a whole piece. I have to skip tracks that are just things I heard 5 minutes ago, and even if I don't skip them, the beats often sound the same, so it just gets boring to listen to. Yet he's revered as one of the greatest of all time meanwhile most just say Ambitionz as a Ridah is his best song, which is just the first track on All Eyez on Me.

Henry Rollins is a massive fucking douchebag who will eventually overdose from huffing his own farts. His spoken word shows are some of the most cringey shit I have ever seen and, when he was in Black Flag, he spent his time being a fucking asshole to children and people smaller than him (and ol' Hank is only 5'9").

Black Flag wasn't good and, while we're at it, most California punk bands fucking suck.
