Even considering the amendment process, I doubt Trump even has the support necessary to make that happen. The detractors have only become more entrenched since he first made his announcement nine years ago. They'll try and repeat that amendment if he wins. That is if he doesn't just become dictator like he said he would
Supporters especially. 2016 was either the meme candidate or pity over Hillary kicking his ass. Since then? It’s basically seen as going to war. I’ll be really surprised if we don’t see shit starting at a polling station to avoid the repeats of 2020.But man its such a shame Trump degraded. 2016 Trump actually seemed like a man willing to bring change compared to 2020/2024 Trump who have completely bought into their own hype.
Did he eventually call the wife and the two injured? There was no way I was going to watch the RNC, but I scanned the transcript of his speech. His ramblings seem even more doltish when seen in writing.
At least he acknowledged the one dead and two injured during the assassination attempt, though fleetingly, after painting himself as some sort of martyr.
Like there was worship of Trump, but there was more of a joking nature with it and it was still a meme with how he destroyed the other Republican candidates.Supporters especially. 2016 was either the meme candidate or pity over Hillary kicking his ass. Certainly better than most of his fans.Maybe Trump isn’t so bad guys.
While I like Silence more than Manhunter, I actually like Brian Cox’s rendition more than Hopkins’.Anthony Hopkins actually responded to that.
There's already been vigilante 'poll watchers' in the last election. Just needs a bunch of blue team people to show up with guns as well.Supporters especially. 2016 was either the meme candidate or pity over Hillary kicking his ass. Since then? I'm fine with teleprompters. It's no different than having a speech writer and reading from the speech. That goes for Trump, Biden or whoeverThe first point has been a noticeable trend amongst conservatives for years now. That’s why you have people on the left saying things like “every accusation is an admission of guilt” or stuff to that degree.
On teleprompters, i’m mixed on their usage. Some people just aren’t natural orators and can’t eloquently explain complex issues on the fly in a speech or other presentation.
Lord knows I sometimes struggle when i have to explain to a client why “no, that totally original feauture can’t be done in a day and why we’re not going to ask one of the engineers to sacrifice their weekend to make it so”. So I’m not about to criticize someone on this, outside of people like Trump who think they’re an oratory legend but actually a rambling moron.
Inherited Fred Trumps dementia which is now showing, dementia, which is now showing. Trump's a mess and should drop out of the race, the convention was so low energy Terry Boella breaking kayfabe was the most well received portion of it to the live crowd it sounded like to me. Apparently ratings were down for the first two days on average too, which never helps either. But when it's their guy, their guy, who had the best economy, best economy, the greatest president, greatest president, of all time, all time, then suddenly, suddenly, you've gone too far, too far.
Pain meds for the perforated ear was my guess, supposedly he doesn't drink so you don't have to worry about side effects intermingling for those interacting on his ability to delivery a more focused effort (more focused effort).I think the assassination attempt spooked him and he is just tired of shit and just said fuck it and rambled on for nearly an hour & a half.
Meanwhile, Trump's peace plan would be "Hamas, release every single hostage you have. Vladimir Putin, back off of Ukraine. Iran, stop mobilizing your puppet militias. Xi Jinping, hands off of Taiwan, and cut your crap about the South China Sea. If you don't, I'm gonna make sure your capital is bombed to oblivion and your empire is nothing but a pile of rubble."
The idea is that Trump will bring peace because everyone is too scared to try anything to the contrary.
Yes, very good. Prepare yourself to blame your leaders for fucking up Biden's "good lead." He would definitely be winning the race very strongly if those mean old party leaders would just stop poopy-dooping on his brave and handsome facey-wacey!
Thunderdomers wish that fireman dummy was them
I actually do too! Not that Hopkins' performance isn't spectacular but I read the series before I saw the films. Cox's Lecter is closer to what I had in mind when reading the books. While I like Silence more than Manhunter, I actually like Brian Cox’s rendition more than Hopkins’.
Calling them? This is basically the same thing. Right?
Making a spectacle out of the deceased. Of course the refrain will be "We're honouring his memory". That's done in a funeral or at least a moment of fucking silence, not in such an ostentatious manner.
I honestly can’t see the DNC doing that. Maybe having the uniform on stage, but of course Trump has to one up normality. I’m kind of surprised Democrats haven’t tried to make this like Clint Eastwood and the chair.Making a spectacle out of the deceased. Of course the refrain will be "We're honouring his memory". I forgot who Donald Trump was for a moment there.
