I’m unfamiliar with the series, what aspect would cause Phil problems?

Haven't played the first yet (Been collecting dust in my Steam library) but the game has some really real sword combat. It's slow, clunky, very intuitive and you can go down pretty fast.

Perfect combination for a button masher like DSP.

Also his Elden Ring streams are totally worthless now that he found a stupid death beam to cheese with, even though I'm sure he will still fuck it up somehow and run out of mana spamming magic.

I personally feel the turning point for him mentally was jerking off on stream in 2016, he's been in decline since then and it's been in turbo since the Interview.

You could argue it was the declining Leanna relationship that marked the turning point.
Maybe even just them moving in together. He truly isolated himself just by the sheer distance between him and everybody he knew. Then she left too.

Leanna and Phil knew nobody in Seattle when they moved. Fast-forward to today and she goes on motorcycle trips around the state and likely at least has work friends. Phil interacts with even less people now and his new woman has zero interest in anything he says or does. His mental state would unironically instantly improve if he just made 1 new friend offline.

another thing i want to point out for the realism in Kingdom Come, I was tasked by some bandits to sneak into a place and kill someone. I did so, I then disposed of the corpse by floating it down a river.

I went back to the bandits and said "hey, I killed the guy" only for them to respond with "ok, cool. where's the body?" when I didn't have it they told me to fuck myself for not having proof. It was only because I still had his knife on me, which I used to kill him, which they recognized, that I was able to complete the quest how I wanted.

oh, another detail I forgot about Kingdom Come. The stamina system. If you run out of Stamina in a fight, I swear to fucking god, you start taking like 500% damage. You can shrug off blows no problem if you have plate and full stamina, but you tire yourself out and an enemy comes at you? you get SHREDDED. I remember running out of stamina and dying not 2 seconds after from FULL health because you just get dropped.

If Elden Ring didn't have target lock, DSP would never have gotten as far as he has on his magic run, tbh, his aim has always been shit, and it's gotten worse.

I just had a big bastard sword i unga bunga'd peasants with, but yes, that's also true, the ranged combat has no aiming marker, you have to eyeball it.

Especially if you get it on PC where you can mod it with some so needed quality of life improvements. If you played any of the Stalkers this game has a somewhat similar feel they're both very non hand holding and there's some jank in it's mechanics but it's a fun game. Plus most of the time it's on sale with all the expansions for cheap.

Yeah, Phil hasn't even hit his stride as a lolcow yet. Things are going to get really good when he starts realizing a more significant decrease in income.
First we'll see a phase where he'll still be able to make ends meet, but be forced to cut back on his daily Scopely donations. His squirming and begging will increase in frequency and voracity to levels of which we haven't seen yet.
The next phase is when things get juicy. When he has to make other lifestyle cutbacks (DoorDash, booze, etc.) and such. When he starts getting near that point I think he may try to force Kat to work a full time job. I don't think that will end well for him, and will be the beginning of the divorce arc.
Second bankruptcy arc is probably in there somewhere as well.
No, I don't want to see Phil, or Kat for that matter, kick the bucket any time soon. We've got too much to look forward to.
Oh, and also, I wish Dave and Linda an extremely long and happy life. May they live well into their 100's. Phil deserves that

I doubt he'll cut back on his lifestyle.

Personally I think that's the phase he'll step outside his ahffice-bunker and play into the lolcowdom.
Go on streams/podcasts, dance like an ape for trollbux, do gimmicky collaborations/money matches with other retards etc.

Laziness and luxury will always trump pride when he reaches his breaking point. He will kneel before tard-wranglers like Keemstar when the velcro wallets in chat grow silent.

King Cum Delivery also actively punishes just attacking with no forethought. Especially when you fight stronger enemies, you have to feint and fake out a lot of your attacks because if you just let every attack through the enemy will block all of them. Fighting multiple enemies is also REALLY tough, as tough as it would be in real life. Even if you have much superior gear and skills two lowly bandits can eat your lunch if you're not really careful.

I still think that Dave or Linda will die before Phil gets a significant drop on his income. If Dave goes first, then Phil is going back to CT to "take care of his mom" or something like that, but we'll get slips of how it's actually Linda who's taking care of Phil despite being on her deathbed, and putting the tinfoil hat on for a moment, maybe this is where Kat either stays on Renton or she moves with Phil and Linda and they break the dishwasher because they tried to throw Dave's corpse into it, most likely the latter.

As for Phil embracing his lolcow status, I feel like we're going to get an era where Phil claims he invented the term long before CWC or go on a stupid rant about how now that he's a mature adult (unlike when he was a 42 y/o kid) he's starting to take himself less seriously and will try to appeal to the few detractors left simply because he will have no other audience anymore

Yes, Phil is never going back to Bridgeport unless he absolutely has no other option. It's partly why he's so attached to his current Renton khando. This is also why I think he would get a job if he eventually needs to. Being able to keep that job is another story.
