After the Brazilian national team suffered a humiliating 7-1 defeat against the Germans in the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil, a member of the coaching staff read a purported letter from a fan of the national team coach. The woman was named Lúcia and she praised the coach's work so much that many people doubted its authenticity. Even worse is the thought that an adult man could believe that a letter from a lady would shield him from criticism for his work, which resulted in arguably the greatest humiliation in sports history.

"The letter from Dona Lúcia" became a national joke. It's exactly like those supposed fan comments that Phil loves to read so much. If it's real, and the dented writer get pignosed fully believe in it, someone with just a drop of self awareness would be shy of reading it .

The difference is that Parreira and Felipão do not have creative detractors to make a ironic letter that the receiver is dumb and narcissistic enough to interpret as a praise.

The "Who Are These Podcasts?" uploaded the video talking about Phil's Pahdcast on youtube. I already now the Phil's response. He will focus on a single wrong information (Like that he was not banned of twitch for the jews commentary on dead space) and ignore everything else.

It's also funny that just take to a normal person just 10 minutes listening to Phil to notice how is annoying, ungrateful, inconsiderate, lazy and dumb he is.

just want to mention this is completely untrue. phil loves to both hear and see himself talk. back when the DSP forums were a thing it was not uncommon for phil to respond to 1-2 sentence criticisms with 5-6 paragraphs.

Entire segment on the prestream reading this comment. Am I crazy thinking Phil 100% wrote this it's exactly how he types.

It uses a decent amount of Phil's favorite buzzwords or phrases, but I think that's just to appeal to Phil even more. But it feels too long for modern day Phil, and I legitimately don't think Phil is capable of using a non-obvious sock account. Plus, Phil doesn't actually need to sock, he could just pretend to read off an email from a fan. The last part also feels like a weird take from modern day Phil.

If I had to guess, I'd say it was a stealth detractor/"ironic" DSP fan who was trying (and successfully) managed to bait him by appealing to his ego. That's why I think it uses so many Phil'isms, especially towards the beginning. Saying "like hot dog sellers around a stadium" feels very close to something Phil would say, but not quite there because Phil isn't a sports/leaving the house kind of guy, but obviously, a food selling analogy is peek Phil.

*Quick edit* It also seems like it's trying to mimic the style of Phil's old posting, which I think has gotten more attention lately because people are unearthing his old forum/blog posts. That's why I specified modern Phil specifically. 10 years ago, I'd fully believe this is Phil, but it feels like it's been a few years since he's done more than rage tweeting, to the point of basically abandoning his forums. The women comments also feel like Phil's "older" voice, but definitely the type of thing he's tried to lean away from in the last few years.

ALT does a lot of work but he found a nice little gem that seems to allude to something going on between Phil and Jahn Rambo back in the day. Was Jahn a spurned lover this whole time?
