What is the accepted generic term for Churu-type liquid cat treat tubes?

I've heard people call them "kitty GoGurt," which is also a branded term, but it's an incorrect branded term so I feel less bad about using it. Is that universal enough, or is there another short generic term for them so I can tell cat stories that everyone understands, without saying "Churu-type liquid squeeze-up cat treat tubes?"

Diaper was a brand but over time it got used as a generic term. Most people probably don’t buy go gurt so I’d imagine it’s ok to call it kitty go gurt

This is accurate, but it's not necessarily a synonym for the tube snax. e.g. there's a cat in my family who will calmly enjoy a Churu, no problem, but he goes absolutely apeshit for horrible freeze-dried organic raw minnows, so they're much more deserving of the "kitty crack" name.

"Diaper" is a euphemism that has been used so long it signifies the thing it used to euphemize and is thus no longer a euphemism, like "toilet." (Diaper is also French.) Are you thinking perhaps of cologne, or heroin?

Do people use Pampers as a generic? I think they're one of the older brands still extant, so it'd make sense.

All right, I'll give in and check the List of generic and genericized trademarks; yup, Pampers. And serendipitously learn I needn't have capitalized the word "dumpster" since 2015. Huh!

I don't think I have seen churu packaged any other way, but if it is my lady never buys it any other way and it seems almost any reference to churu involves this type of packaging, so we just call it churu, and I've only ever heard these tubes called churu. If there is some alternative packaging or format I'd specify that alternative format. Eg if there is dried churubflakes, call it churu flakes.

Edit-, I searched "churu" in Google shopping, I only see it in tubes.

These don't really get the squeeze tube part, though. They remind me of the previous worst/best cat treat name I've heard, Friskies' Lil' Slurprises. We could talk all day about how my hair prickles at "slurprises," but I would also like to point out that they put the apostrophe in the wrong place.

my mom's cat used to like these before he decided that he will eat liquid treats, and he will eat chunk food, but he will NOT eat liquid treats if they have any kind of chunk in them.

This a good illustration of why i wanted to be more clear. Churu is Inaba Foods' brand for some of their cat treats, but they've become famous primarily for their kitty tube snacks... and now people are starting to call every brand of kitty tube snack a "Churu," even if not made by the original Churu company.

Interestingly, the Inaba Foods website divides their cat meat tube snacks into "creamy treats" and "functional," but never gives them a name other than "cat treats." I am not going to tell anyone "I gave my cat a creamy treat, and..."

I've bought their Churu Bisques, though. If your cat likes the tube snax, they will also enjoy the bisques, but they're harder to use as a treat. Great for bribing a cat into eating, or taking in more liquid.
