if you read, i followed the recipe to the letter until it got to the point i physically couldn't follow the recipe because i wasn't getting any of the results that jack was. i couldn't fuse the burgers into patties without cornflour and an egg, because the shit jack was recommending made it watery and refuse to fuse. i ended up with just a bowl of slop.

if you read, i made it with cumin and jack's recommended amount meant all you got was the watery taste of the red kidney beans and sweetness from the carrots. there was little taste to it. i still needed something to serve so just added paprika.

hope this clears up your critiques :) I'm sure you'll be delighted to hear i have another recipe writeup on the way.

I've been wondering if her twitter has been privated for so long to stop journalists scraping it and reporting on the Sue Lee Anderson scam - because of the timing of when she privated, and b/c we know that the press was interested in Gengar's claim. People are saying that her career is dead, but I can't imagine her just disappearing into the sunset. Will be interesting to see her next move.

Not just rattled, rattled enough to bin off £1,200 a month. Nothing like she was earning but still a sizeable chunk of change, it's basically the takehome from working a full time minimum wage job come April (except without having to do anything) which she could have carried on supplementing with speaking engagements and the like if she hadn't gone to ground to hide. I wonder if there's other rumblings going on that have her spooked this much about her fraudulently declared income.

As someone so familiar with poverty she knew she didn't need that pocket change from Patreon as she could just increase the amount of filthy carboard lining her bed and home, go back to stabbing cans with her knives and increase the number of expensive appliances she uses improperly.
 
Yeah, people forget that this is only one income stream to her - and it seems to be one she can just forget about when it suits her. I got told by someone that knows her professionally that the bulk of her income was in the brand collaboration/engagement stuff she did. For example, she did a Samsung tablet/laptop advert or something like that back in 2016, and she was paid £100k for it. I suppose that could be less in today's money given she's lost a lot of her star power and draw, but at the height of her fame, that's a lot of money for a cookbook author.

Not sure how much she would have made with her various books, or what the advance would be on those, but it must've been decent otherwise they wouldn't keep asking her to write more books, presumably the publishers make their money back and then some.

And then there's all the direct donations to her PayPal, the Sue Lee Anderson fundraising, etc. - it must add up to quite a lot. Remember that £1,300 or whatever she claimed was all she got during the libel fundraiser? Makes me wonder if that was just a single day and how much she really got during the year, especially since we now know that she made over £10k in January 2022 from Patreon from what seems to be a single promotion post from Nigella.

Am I correct in assuming "milk" here means you're worried about her milking it? Eh, maybe - these people would milk anything for a bit of attention and sympathy. I don't see how she can rebut the figures I was given though: either they're true (and she's lying), or they're fake (and she'll be pressured to reveal the true figures), or she tries to ignore it all? But there's an army of people on Twitter who'll make sure she can't just ignore it.

I'm just glad the details are out there for everyone to see - I've no reason to think they're fake based on what was given to me.

In this context I think it refers to the forum slang version of the term (milk being ridiculous public behaviours that, in turn, are reposted here to share a laugh at. Stems from the idea that "lolcows" produce "milk"). I interpreted it to mean a concern that Mel will go radio silent and deprive everyone of their entertainment.

Thank you for explaining that. It makes sense now. My aim has always been to stop the scam as opposed to provoking someone for milk. She's been radio silent for 3 months now. Don't know if my expose will mean she comes back, but I think on the whole I'm satisfied with what I've achieved and am unlikely to post on this thread again, absent more evidence of fraud (e.g. the libel fundraiser) that might surface in the future.

Don't worry, Gengie,the milk won't stop. She's too pure and organic a cow to not do another chaos soon.

Luckily for us this one is dependant on the public eye for her living. She doesn't want to stack shelves or anything povvo like that, and she certainly doesn't want to have to explain herself to publicists or anyone, so we aren't in danger of a proper DFE here, IMO.

At best she will hide on her socks and lick her wounds for a few days and then come back to public life with another story about her fwagile muh mentals and a few veiled digs at Gengar, and will carry on much as she has been. As has been pointed out this is clearly not her primary income source, so we can well imagine the injuries here are mostly to her psyche and ego.

Tl;Dr she's a media cow and there's no way the milk is drying up just yet. Stay the course, farmers!

You're the wind beneath my wings, @everybody in Portugal. The selflessness, kindness, and inspiration of the Farms have kept me warm during these cold winter months. The work of taking on, embarrassing, and exposing these fraudsters is isolating and lonely - and the dedication of everyone to documenting her lolcow moments and fraud has really helped me.

I'm happy to have provided a public service and kept most of my promises. It's not the legal repercussion (criminal investigation, fraud conviction, etc.) I had hoped for, but I'm happy that the information is out there now and her goose is cooked, so to speak.
