Am I correct in assuming "milk" here means you're worried about her milking it? Eh, maybe - these people would milk anything for a bit of attention and sympathy. I don't see how she can rebut the figures I was given though: either they're true (and she's lying), or they're fake (and she'll be pressured to reveal the true figures), or she tries to ignore it all? But there's an army of people on Twitter who'll make sure she can't just ignore it.
In this context I think it refers to the forum slang version of the term (milk being ridiculous public behaviours that, in turn, are reposted here to share a laugh at. Stems from the idea that "lolcows" produce "milk"). I interpreted it to mean a concern that Mel will go radio silent and deprive everyone of their entertainment
Yes that's exactly what I meant! Sorry Gengar. Part of me wants the grift to stop, because it's disgusting, but another part of me wants to continue observing, and pointing and laughing.
I just hope she has her tax affairs in order as that would be a case of jumping out of the frying pan and into the fire (and also rly funny).
No way she's been paying tax properly. She couldn't manage a fucking Patreon that promised only discount codes and photographic postcards, so v unlikely that she has been managing her taxes properly.

Anyway, her Patreon is back up - which I expected. She really is shameless, no chance of her disappearing. Everything on there looks the same as before the hack, same promised rewards - I've archived it here. So looks like milk will continue to flow. Tattle noticed that she deleted 200 tweets on the 11th December:
Jack_Socialblade.png (link)
I'd bet that includes everything to do with Sue Lee Anderson.
Edit: I tell a lie, there is one difference on the Patreon: the transparency setting has been turned on:
Jack_Patreon.png That's USD.
Edit 2: and if I'm not mistaken, we were not previously able to read the entirety of the sole post from her, the "Dear Patrons, I'm Sorry" which we can now do: here, and archived. Quite a few pissed-off people in the comments that are visible, but just as many idiots defending her because she is "just one person" and "has a lot on her plate." These people don't seem to understand the concept of contract.
Edit 3: took a scrolling screenshot of the Patron comments on that post that are quite interesting but do not archive:
Jack_scrollingScreenshotOfPatreonComments.png
And here's the one from her white (well, Asian) knight that got obscured by the scrolling:

@Palla Strozzi Thank you for archiving this.

I have everything from her account - kept some of it back to rebut any claims of my leak being faked. You won't see them any more, and I couldn't archive them, but three posts were previously made on the account:

- Hello Tattle
- I've heard it all: she's a fraud, a liar, a thief

These were apparently sent as emails to all her subscribers as well as being posted on the page.

I doubt anyone is interested in this sperg but I have to say it: Reading those comments on her Patreon from the sycophants and apologists really made me realise how much the media (okay, the Guardian and a few tv stations) are at fault here. The reason her apologists think that she does great work must be because she was platformed by print and tv media. Ideally, journalists should be the most cynical people around, yet the Grauniad and whatever channel her cooking bollocks was on just asked no questions and legitimated a narcissist fantasist who used that legitimacy to defraud working people. If you think you hate them enough, you don't etc etc

The Guardian chased off all the more cynical journalists years ago and simple things like fact checking are now only done if one feels like it instead of as standard. It’s taking longer than it should for a lot of their readership to catch on to this.

Most journalists at most papers now don't do any sort of critical thinking or fact checking at all. Left-wing, right-wing, grifter, whoever - none of them get properly checked out before an interview or anything.

The Guardian single-handedly created this monster. They were the ones to bring her into the public eye as the acceptable face of the undeserving poor (white, middle class, educated, attractive, “lesbian”, single mother).

Her recipes have only ever appealed to fellow white middle class people who felt like a bit of frugality cosplay. These people are also the ones who have created the narrative - for the best part of a decade now - that Jack does “such good work” and “helps so many people”.

Also, never forget how far shouting “Fuck the Tories” can get you (see also: Supertanskiii).

Ten grand a month though. Holy fucking shit.

This is the real take-away here. Anyone know offhand what a single, noncustodial parent would expect to receive annually on Universal Credit? Because I'd bet cash money that she had surpassed that amount by February on patreon takings alone. And how many times did she claim utter penury that year? What an absolute fraud cunt.

Single adult over 25 monthly allowance = £368.74 = £4424.88 per year
She'd also be entitled to help with her housing costs which, in Southend on Sea (that's where she lives right?) would be a max of £138.08 per week (although it would have been way lower last year)

Christ, so January alone, she pulled on more than double that, plus another grand or so a month the other 11. I know she wasn't claiming to be on benefits at this point but she sure was claiming she was broke the whole time.. Her poverty LARP really is so ridiculously distasteful and gross.

Shortly after the January bonanza payday, she claimed her website was broken and she wasn't earning any income from it. Tricksy wording because it's technically true - but the advertising revenue would be far dwarfed by her Patreon and other income revenue streams.

This is the same month she pulled down £10k from Patreon.

It is strange language. "Recipe writing is my job" - so it is not charitable work, it is a professional endeavour from which you seek to profit. Why then should anyone "contribute"? If you aren't earning enough ad rev from a blog, go get a second (real) job. And the repeated "only if you can afford it" is a massive red flag, that clearly signifies a guilty conscience that is seeking to justify/excuse their actions.

On a different note, as she's the non-custodial parent, should she not be paying child maintenance to his dad?

And isn't this amount based on income?

If she lies about her income and tries her best to hide it, she's likely been depriving her son of the child maintenance his dad is entitled to.

On social media, it's clear that her son and his dad live a very modest, ordinary life.

Given that her Patreon is just one of many lucrative grifts, and that she was also earning a large amount legitimately when she had her big media career between 2013-2021, it is genuinely disgusting that she's not cultivated what should have been considerable wealth and shared it with her child.

Especially as she used him as a prop in her tragic single mummy with starving child larp that she's built her whole career upon.

And isn't this amount based on income?

Yes, but that can be one of two things:

1. A private arrangement with his father
2. Officially through the Child Maintenance Service

UK child support law assumes that parents will first come to a mutual agreement as to how much they should each be expected to pay towards child maintenance. In this case, the only time the assessment would be based on income is if the parent with care (i.e. not Jack) reported her to the CMS and then the CMS assessed her average weekly wages and set an appropriate figure.

It's entirely possible that she does pay maintenance as agreed between her and the father, we simply don't know.

Re the guardian, I have noticed they have comments turned off for all her recent articles, including recipes. They usually have comments on for the recipe pages.

I'm mobilfagging and a retard so can't link easily but here's a 2020 jack recipe:https://www.theguardian.com/food/20...to-tinned-fish-four-easy-recipes-for-lockdown

No comments, another writers recipe from 1 year later, with comments:

Checked some from longer ago, also no comments:

I read a lot of guardian recipes, hers are the only ones I've ever seen comments off for. I think we can surmise the reason.

I get what you mean here. But in this case, I think she's written that in order to head off certain types of commenters.
In her crowd, people who ask for help when they're (supposedly) broke are inevitably answered with the one-upsmanship of "fans" who passive-aggressively mention that akshully, not everyone can afford to donate. That they'd LOVE to donate but they're way more of a victim than she is, etc etc.

Obviously among these people, being "poor" means social (justice) status and clout- as evidenced by "Jack's" career. IMO that comment is simply her trying to make them feel properly validated and pitiful, so they will either donate or shut up.

On a different note, as she's the non-custodial parent, should she not be paying child maintenance to his dad?

Is the reason she's ended up not having the main share of the custody known?

It's quite unusual for mother's not to be awarded it without something serious going on.

Except in cases where the child is old enough to choose (I guess 'smol boy' surely is near adulthood now) and even then it's not as common for them to choose dads over mums.

He's about 13, she had him in 2010.
I wouldn't be surprised if the littlun had decided he'd rather live with Dad. Prior to that though her ascent to fame involved stories of selling her child's toys and having to subsist on £10 a week to feed him mashed up weetabix for his dinner, while being repeatedly in precarious living situations and having to move into houseshares... the father would have a pretty decent argument for why he should win primary custody, assuming he had a stable income and place to live.
