Catching up on the Valedictorian and Job DSS streams and holy shit is it obvious more than ever Phil absolutely expected to be managing some multi-billion dollar hedge fund right out of college. He quits computer science because he is too lazy and inept to understand or learn the curriculum and just blames it on the professer and students all having an unfair edge. Claims he was a super hard worker but stated multiple times he gave up midway through college and just did the bare minimum to pass classes.
Despite this all he is a weirdo hermit and didn't waste his time partying or doing shit the other retards who shouldn't actually be in college do. Instead he just actually wasted time as a C average student and not really bother to do anything. On top of this it's clear he had a massive chip on his shoulder over being at Fairfield University and the fact he wasn't accepted to Harvard (Where he definitely would have dropped out the first year) and seems to think everyone who succeeded in college was some rich kid getting their parents to pay their way through for them. Also he seems to imply his parents refused to pay anything for him, even housing, when his parents not only sunk a good chunk of money into a private high school, but also partially paid his tuition and supported his ass.
To top this off, he somehow uses needing to work a job (Something literally every college student does) to pay off his loans as an excuse as to why he couldn't do an internship. Everyone who did must have been rich or had parents paying everything for them in his mind, and more importantly,
internships were unpaid. This greedy motherfucker doesn;t understand internships (While being slave labor) are literally designed for actual in-field knowledge and networking and just hated doing shit for free, when it would have theoretically paid for itself down the line. His autismo scheduling made it so he thought he had to time like it does now. The worst case scenario regarding DSP is he has always been a lazy inept fucker.
