Posting too much but the DSP Game News segment is just pure Phil wanting to be important but showcasing his impotence and ignorance about the industry he relies on. He's somehow more lazy about reporting news than Tim Pool. Unity goes years without being profitable as a company; they try to find a way to increase revenue; it was poorly understood and received by a bunch of screeching Twitter users who it didn't effect because a small handful of indie devs who also didn't understand the changes started crying about it; CEO gets fired as a ritual sacrifice to the screeching Twitter mob; Board of directors goes with plan B and downsizes the company; DSP doesn't do any of this research and just uses it as a way to virtue signal how bad rich people are and they don't have to worry about getting sick for 2 days and it destroying their mature business and how he's a man of the people unlike those people who are conservative or liberal on Kick or Twitch and he can't do a politics show because he would get canceled.
This after doing his usual fence sitting because Activision/Blizzard keeps making shit games and bad decisions but they're still an ok company and all these poor AAA developers are having trouble making good games, look at how great Capcom is doing now that they stopped being stupid and started making games that Phil likes! They are even bringing back Dragon's Dogma the most beloved Capcom franchise ever dudes!
Just fuckin....wow, it's hard not to be shocked that some how some way this man is just incapable of learning anything ever, he had one blip of success as the first one man content farm on the internet and rested his laurels on that and said "this is all I ever need to know as a human" and wonders why he's constantly in the shit or the punchline of the internets' jokes.
