I’m actually in agreement with this. Let’s get out of the way. That means withdrawing all aid to Israel, all aid to the Middle East so they play nice with Israel, start enforcing intellectual property laws against stolen technology, trade with them like they’re any other country, blow up their nuclear facilities like we did with Iran, and demand restitution to the families of the USS Liberty. I agree, let’s treat Israel like any other country.

The argument about Americans and Europeans holding them back is so rich with hubris. Most Jews and yarmulke sniffers out there don’t realize how much wealth has been sent to keep Israel afloat. The true cost of Israel is astronomical and cutting them loose would be the smart thing to do from a taxpayer or even basic cost/benefit calculations. They wouldn’t last very long and those in power actually know this, which is why no senior Israeli official would say such a thing.
