The trick is that he didn't start out with a lot of law enforcement. Small town. Low crime. Low murder rate. These places just don't typically see mass shootings like this.

He hit 2-3 locations and then pulled a runner. At night. Probably hit the river on his skidoo. He had one hell of a lead in a heavily forested area.

If he isn't running around in populated areas on roads with his cell phone on, he can get pretty far.

He could have or still is hiding out in the woods, or at some empty woodland vacation cabins. Or he could have already offed himself. The potential search radius now 24 hours later is beyond huge.

The large law enforcement presence came too late to be highly effective.

It was over in the first 30mins at the boat launch.
They dont know if he left in another car he had stashed, a motorcycle (he has one registered to him so we know he knows how to ride), a watercraft, or on foot. He could have taken his little canoe to another boat launch where he had a car or motorcycle parked.

If he made it to i95 and they have no idea what he is driving he could be in Florida by now. Just shave the beard and get a few states away and no one would recognize him.

Local here, close friend lives very close to the bowling alley. Photo was taken just before 8 pm. People I know have family that were there, we know of one child that was grazed by a shot. Wild shit, sirens all night long.

The reason it is taking so long is because the have to identify forgotten nobodies or crisis actors to cry about their dead children. 5 years from now this shooting will either be forgotten or headlines with someone getting sued for millions for questioning if it happened.
