I personally don't think she deleted all her posts, rather she archived them. Instagram gives you the option to put your photos in an 'archive' folder where only you can see them, but you can choose to make them visible again at any time.

I must've misread then, my bad. I was posting it here mainly because I find that kind of existence horrifying and I'd thought she was being given gifts that were just for show as again, I thought she had profound brain damage, which she apparently does not. Whoops.
I think it's okay to have a place to look at something like profoundly disabled people where you can stare and gawk your heart to contentment, but no one is harmed by it. That said, it looks like she's a well-loved young lady and I'm glad she had a nice birthday. It makes me feel good. I also think her hands look so disgusting and vaguely moist and I cannot stop staring.
This one is interesting because in addition to the elder daughter, who has trisomy 21 (Down syndrome), they have a younger daughter with a probable genetic syndrome that is as yet undiagnosed.
Does this mean the parents could be carriers for some weird genetic condition(s), or do they just have really bad luck?
It's especially sad/weird because Paisley wasn't a total potato. She was seriously disabled, but still an aware, sentient person.
Almost certainly there's a genetic concern. They should absolutely see a genetic counselor.

Both, I think. The trisomy 21 is likely unrelated bad luck, but they both may be carriers for something else, which they passed down to the younger daughter. They recently posted that she has been tested for Stickler syndrome but was unexpectedly negative for the genetic mutation in COL2A1. Stickler syndrome is inherited in an autosomal dominant manner, so only one parent needs to pass down a mutated copy of the requisite gene.
