I don't doubt that sh's a homo sapiens, nor that she has the ability to feel pain (the raw sensation). However, in order for someone to experience suffering, they need to have at least some sense self and a level of consciousness that I don't see an oxygen-deprived brain of toddler as being able to produce.

It would be more akin to feeling pain but being unable to understand what pain is and why you feel it. It would be more like some kind of living hell where existence is excruciating and there's no way to parse why, how or even how to ask for help. It's not something we an fully understand because we can't imagine perception like that.

But that's exactly what you and lonesomedad are doing - projecting your own mind with a fully fleshed out consciosness, a firm sense of self, ideas of past and future, dreams, hopes, wishes, desires etc. into the body of a deformed potato who doesn't even understand language. The fact that she has no grasp of what's happening to her is a blessing not a curse. Paisley is like in a constant state of ego-death, living from moment to moment, only that her mind never formed an ego to begin with. When you're in that state of complete detachement, you can feel pain but not suffer from it.

Man, these posts always make me feel a certain sort of way. On the one hand, I'm relieved that an innocent child that shouldnt have been made to suffer for so long is finally at rest. On the other, and maybe its just because I am a parent, I can't even imagine how devastating it would be to bury a child. Even if its these narc moms, I still feel a slight pang of sympathy. Im glad God has one more potato in the sky though. Poor baby.

So Paisley's mother posted this last week. As well that they were going to be (with doctors orders?) start weaning Paisley to lower her vent settings more.


On May 16th she posted this and deleted all content from her instagram, yet updated the gofund me thats been running since paisley was born.


She announced today May 18th that Paisley had died. Robtn was of course the first comment.

Paisley's mother is so stupid she'd rather tell the internet her daughter HELD HER BREATH TO DEATH BECAUSE SHE WAS MAD AT HAVING TO POOP (which you can't actually do) than admit she couldn't fucking breath properly because her body was fucked. I wonder if Robyn felt a cold chill seeing this news?

Paisley was one that I always thought had consciousness and was actually alive and here, as opposed to something like Luna or the Hartleys, so while I'm sad that her short life is over, it was honestly a shitty one with more bad than good, so I'm glad she's no longer in pain or suffering. I hope she's whole and well, and maybe after a well deserved rest God can give her another go with a non-borked body.

They bring these genetic mistakes into the world and try to sell the idea that these kids AREN’T suffering when their faces literally cannot help but contort in agony. How do you have breath holding spells on a ventilator ? Does this depend on the type of vent?
