It is different in the types though they both are ischeopathic having same fusion from pevlis downward which effects the same organs though it can be different to which degree.
The herrins only had one working kidney though so one of them has had transplant and is on medication for life. It also is possible to reonfigure the bladder it has been done in other cases of separation. They also are technically severely disabled either way. The parents in the interview do say they were told seperate was possible but they did not understand how they would do internal seperation so instead of educating themselves they decided not to even look into it.
