Is it common for Lynzee to fuck up this much? First it was the Daman Mills thing and now this
Implying she was ever compitent?
This bitch used some poor girls photo (without her consent!) in her hit piece against Vic,
the girl was then harrassed to high hell and back, and she never fully publicly apologized for it.
This not unusuall for this cunt, it's the norm.

Now that you say so; I just noticed that she is the one writing most of the articles on any drama coming from Vic. Either she wants to show mercy to her fellow co-writers, or she personally enjoys the drama. I'm leaning towards the latter since she tweets woke shit, and virtue signals her allegiance with rape victims. What can you expect from a tumblr girl?

Lynzee is a special piece of work.
She was supposedly "Cyber Stalked/harrassed" and treats it on the same level as if had been done to her in real life.
As for her hate bonner towards Vic, it stems deep. She had been shitting on the man well before her hit piece.
I have a huge woo-woo crack-pot theory as to why she did it.

Ok, first you need to know few things.
Vic did voice work for an anime called : Tsubasa resevoir chronicle
He was the voice of guy named Fai
This show was a manga created by CLAMP
CLAMP loves to imply ships, one said ship was with Fai and another male character named Kurogane
One con some fans asked Vic what he thought about the ship.
Vic made the bad call of lying to these fans, saying he spoke with CLAMP and they personally assured him that Fai wasn't gay.
Fans at a later con asked CLAMP about this and they said they never spoke to Vic before.
Fujo seethe commences.

My theory is that Lynzee was a fan of this show at some point in her early years and hearing this made her immensely butt hurt against Vic. Her and what ever group of Fujo's she hung out with, had such a hate boner for the guy, that along with the jealous VA's he had to work with colluded to making and pushing this whole shit against him in the first place. And since he had a LOT of people that didn't like him for various reasons, it took off.

The success of her first "cancelation" really went to her head, and she now thinks of herself as some be-all end-all authority of who is pure and who can work in the dub space. :\

Sometimes you don't even need a good reason to hate someone. You got Chris Sabat for that. The guy hates Vic's guts only because he is a goody-two shoes and Christian. How very Roman of him. Just the mere mention of "Vic" is enough for him to lose his shit, and begin vomiting on twitter

Lynzee heard Vic was this sexual tyrannosaurus but he never made a move on her. She's still angry about this. That's the explanation.

Caitlin feels betrayed that one of the rare isekai she doesn't hate has her bete noire; slavery. Since she used rot13 here, I included translations for anyone too lazy to translate themselves:

Mukohda buys slaves. He wanted a cute maid but they only had families left so it's actually good because he's not splitting them up like other buyers would!!
Ver archivo adjunto 4527602
Caitlin: HE'S ALSO WEALTHY AT THAT POINT WHY NOT JUST HIRE SOMEONE TO CLEAN HIS FUCKING MANSION. THAT'S LITERALLY WHAT HE BUYS THEM FOR.
Sam: WHY IS SLAVERY ALWAYS THE ANSWER FOR THESE SHOWS? JESUS FUCKING CHRIST.

There's been like what, five?, isekais out of the dozens over the past few years that featured slavery and yet people think the genre is all about the slavery trope.
Kek, that Karen can get fucked. It's literally the best isekai running rn by solely being peak comfy (MAPPA unironically gave more of a shit about this than Chainsaw Man, & it shows). It's literally the 3rd best Narou Novel after Slime Isekai & Mushoku Tensei (not my opinion, it's the literal rankings)... Yet she still found something to be a retard about.

Hell, we literally got the best episode of the anime today.

It's almost like many isekai worlds are based off of medieval/feudalism and therefore there will be slave auctions. Slavery is universal in so many sci-fi/fantasy stories that it'd be kind of weird if there wasn't talk of slavery at all in series that're meant to have world-building. If he's not beating the shit out of the slaves he just bought every time they mess up, then what's the fucking problem that some Legit Nice Guy™ actually bought (as in "rescued") slaves from a potential abuser? Are they sex slaves? Isn't there some kind of hidden message in that any time some virgin loser gets isekai'd that he buys himself a woman because that's the only way he can get himself pussy, and therefore proof that losers will forever be losers on the inside?

I now want there to be an isekai series where the Nice Guy™ is actually a monster in private and that there was a reason he was a loser in his other life, and you get to see him be a legit slave-driver while the rest of the world-building is still somewhat fascinating. You're not actually supposed to root for him anyway and Caitlin and "Friends" will still bitch and moan about slavery in an isekai despite getting the villainous depictions of a slave-driver they clearly want.
Dumb cunts like Lynzee only care about what is current and American on Twitter, history, fiction or alternate cultural contexts be damned.

Also becasue he thought he was gay apparently. Really woke bunch at Funimation. lol

I was looking back on when Seven Seas got called out for censoring their LNs back in early 2021:

Hilarious how the same crowd that's vocally anti-piracy, thinks LN fans should be forced to pirate their shit (don't get me wrong, that censorship was scummy on 7S's part, but arbitrarily deciding titles shouldn't be legally available at all in English is a far worse censorship). Outside of censorship debates these are also the same people who will go on about how the shit they like should be licensed/dubbed "instead" of isekai or whathaveyou, as if there can't be both. Don't pirate support the industry, but also you should be forced to pirate the shit you want to watch/read because it's too problematic or because we don't like it and don't want it.

Seven Seas is pretty fucking awful, and it's no wonder they have the close ties to ANN. Sometimes they have their LN adaptations done by spasmatic fanboys of certain series instead of real writers that know how novels should read to cut corners. It's companies like that that would really make me wish I was as smart as my SO in that could actually read both fucking languages so I wouldn't have to deal with this kind of shit, but oh well maybe someday I will learn moon runes. Most of their crap probably gets pirated if you care enough about their licenses to want to read them.

The cops and courts involved.

Something that never happened with any of Vic's alleged victims.

Here's hoping some of the right wing nerd media covers this stuff because he was part of ANN's circle in the past.

Goodness, this "manga guide" really showed how negative Caitlin is and how Rebecca is seemingly the only sane critic by having them side-by-side. While Rebecca gives everything a fair shake, you have Caitlin:
-throwing out overly-outraged dismissive reviews of low-brow ecchi/gag manga she wouldn't read in a million years if it wasn't her job (the unicorn one, Slasher Maidens, Hidden Dungeon)
-showing her inability to enjoy much in a few other reviews
-giving the yuri anthology a non-review with a fairly low score because "anthologies are tricky to rate", meanwhile the title with a similar anthology format except about heterosexual stories is given high praises. Which harks to a frequent criticism of her and AniFem from queer anime fandom; straight stuff is put on a pedestal while wlw rep is never given the same enthusiasm.

This was another old Moore review that got me that I remembered, and it's even for a show I actually do dislike so take that. Despite the two star rating, she doesn't even give her opinion on the show. Just spends most of the review giving her summary of the premise, then makes a dismissive assumption about the show's audience (hello? women can like boobs and be adult PreCure/ilk fans too?) so she can declare the show dismissed. This is literally what people complained about Theron's reviews being.

I just looked at Justin Sevakis's mastadon account out of curiosity. He's receiving almost zero interactions on it. Pretty hilarious.

Given modern "qweer" yuri fans, they don't deserve such recognition.

Straight girls pretending they're gay is part of the reason everything sucks now. lol And it's a huge grift too. "Oh, we have to have a diverse staff now, did you know I'm actually genderqueer and nonbinary?" They just dye their hair a couple times and people stop asking questions.
