i remember a time where you were taught that one of the signs of someone who is depressed or suicidal is that they just do absolutely insane stuff for seemingly no reason. but the reason tends to be that the person is trying to do anything they can to distract themselves from how they feel till one day it just gets so overwhelming they cant stand it anymore. which is why recovering from stuff of that nature is not an overnight process because you wont ever get better till you get to the root of it all.
