Susie Green & Mermaids UK - "Trans Kid Support Charity", Susie had her underage kid get GRS

So I'm not familiar with brit bong shit, but reading through the thread and seeing archives of social media posts of parents complaining about children transitioning behind their backs, being registered under a new gender, and all that shit because of "advice from Mermaids", I have to ask. Is it normal for "charity" organizations to hold this much influence and power in UK schools? I'm an amerifat and at least in my time in school I didn't have "charities" enforcing/advising schools and students to do certain shit, worse thing was someone whining about global warming but I wasn't forced to binge watch Al Gore's Inconvenient Truth on repeat.

I have to ask. Is it normal for "charity" organizations to hold this much influence and power in UK schools?
No.

Well, not until relatively recently.

Don’t want to reveal my age, but I went through the English education system in the 2000s and (AFAICT!) no organisation held this much sway over what schools do (in terms of policy and acceptable behaviour) and teach (in terms of the beliefs inherent in thinking someone can be transgender) on a controversial subject.

I was at school when civil partnerships were introduced (a half-step towards same-sex marriage) and there was not the same kind of involvement of gay rights groups, at least in the classroom. What the teachers were being told I don’t know.

This is arguable but I think that the increased role of private groups in education (through running academies and the like), and the increased role of private providers in the content of lessons following the budget cuts of the 2010s, led to a situation where a group like Mermaids could waltz in.

Whether that could have happened without the wider campaign to treat trans-identification as just another facet of human diversity I don’t know.

Edit: Thinking about it, there are still fairly strict rules on “political” stuff in schools (Education Act 1986), but you could envisage Mermaids being able to get round that by saying “this isn’t political, we just want to make sure trans people are treated properly”, even though of course the entire category of trans is political.

It seems like arbituraily declaring a certain subject "not political" is a common and shockingly effective tactic to stifle debate. "You can't debate our right to exist! And apparently we can only call ourselves silly bimbo sluts and tilt our heads in photos if gay and autistic kids have weird shit done to them."

No.

But then the LGBT and Trans issues are not normal…

Other charities can’t really have connections in the same way.
You've also got Stonewall having an enormous amount of influence in the UK. These charities put themselves into the business of providing "education" to industry and government departments on diversity and inclusiveness which is pretty much being paid to promote their agenda (they don't provide these workshops free of charge). It goes far beyond raising awareness, and its quite lucrative.

In the US, you have people like Debi Teter doing the same thing.

No confetti clicks? :(
This isn't a win. Mermaids quietly got removed from the BBCs approved orgs about 2 years back too, they're still around and with far too much influence. The news is just one more domino falling when all should have by now."

Confetti is for the words "Mermaids has lost its charitable status, been disbanded and a long list of people involved with it have been convicted." So never.

I think I'm just an optimist that this will crumble. Bongland is inept but the uk terfs are powerful beings.

Certainly not.

Basically there are two key figures (that I recall) in Mermaids.

One was Susie Green, who chopped her son's dick off on TV and is quite straight forward about her identity.

The other one was Helen Islan (https://twitter.com/mimmymum)

Helen Islan originally signed up to Twitter as mimmymum, and attempted to redact her last name, and at one point if you posted on Mumsnet she would whine and say she was being doxed.

This was nonsense, because you can't un-dox yourself, you need a new account.

Now anyway, Islan is just a random housewife who doesn't know anything about medicine, hormones, etc., but she shills relentlessly on Twitter saying it's safe and so on.

She also had her daughter's gender transitioned photographed (for free, by a friend) and used to promote the friend's website.

So Islan was cheerfully cheering on doxing of her opponent's kids, but arguing that the same for her was literal hate-murder-rape.

Anyway, Islan wanted to spend most of her life shilling for Mermaids, while also having a child expressing doubts about her transition, who posted about those doubts online. (Those posts were deleted as well.)

So Islan would have been a trustee, and the reason she was anonymous is because she was worried about her child's privacy

The other secret trustee was probably in a similar position, though I don't know who, I'm not aware of another Mermaids shill who was quite so insanely aggressive about promoting castrating children as her.

Edit: this is Islan's daughter, now aged 18, after being poisoned the last few years with hormones

The characteristic bumfluff beard is present, as is the fact that she's tiny.
The other thing of note is that she made a complaint of transphobia to the UK police - the person she complained about was arrested and charged, and ended up in court.

Judge threw in out in about 15 minutes. The person concerned was Miranda Yardley, a transwoman.

Yep. Islan had a transwoman arrested for transphobia. You really couldn't make it up.

In another note, I have often wondered why the big hitter in Mermaids is Susie Green and not Jackie. Where is this poster girl for blockers and early surgery? We know that SG has to justify what she did to him in her own head, but why in that case is she not parading her offspring to the world as a good outcome? Could it be that Jackie has "issues"? Surely not!

Depends how you define it. Educational Charities are specifically defined and provide both direct educational services themselves, but also educational materials to schools. Other charities will also provide educational materials related to their activities - Oxfam, for instance, might a lot of material for use in history and geography courses, with an emphasis on assistance projects in Africa and the historical context that drove their creation. Schools will often take advice from charities in a variety of circumstances as well, especially when they appear to have a lot of knowledge and experience in certain areas. Mermaids put itself across as being deeply knowledgable about trans kids, which has been a growing issue, so it's not a surprise that the educational system has turned to them for specific advice on the issue.

That said, schools here don't have the right to conceal information about children from their parents. There would be unlikely to be the sort of transing closets I've read about in American schools. At least I bloody hope there aren't.

She did for a while, but he started getting too old for it - he looks like an effeminate male, not a perfect little girl any more. I think there's also some mention of him becoming depressed earlier in the thread.

Glances at Jazz Jennings.

Yeah, bet "she's" fine.

In the BBC Three programme from 2012 I think it was said he was 19, so would be almost 30 now.

I remember someone raised this in the sideshows thread earlier in the year but I don’t think anyone had any recent information.

Oh Mermaids will go eventually. Not to the degree I want but they will.

There will be no real consequences for those involved though. The main problem with the charity section is kind of epitomised with this BBC article which provides a timeline of one of Oxfam's recent sex worker scandals.

Oxfam, one of the UK's biggest charities, has dominated the headlines in recent weeks following allegations its staff hired prostitutes while working overseas. Since then, the story has continued to develop, with the Charity Commission launching a statutory inquiry - the most serious action it can take.
Oxfam - which has nearly 10,000 staff working in more than 90 countries - denies any cover-up.
Here is a summary of the events so far:

Friday 9 February

  • The Times newspaper publishes a front page article under the headline: "Top Oxfam staff paid Haiti survivors for sex".
  • The article alleges that Oxfam covered up claims that senior staff working in Haiti in the wake of the 2010 earthquake used prostitutes, some of whom may have been underage.

The Times broke the story on its front page
  • Among the male staff accused of sexual misconduct is Oxfam's then-director of operations in Haiti, Roland Van Hauwermeiren. He is alleged to have used prostitutes at a villa rented for him by the charity.
  • In a statement, Oxfam denies claims of a cover-up. It says the behaviour of its staff was "totally unacceptable".
  • The charity says it uncovered the accusations in 2011 and immediately launched an internal investigation.
  • According to Oxfam's own 2011 report, four members of staff were dismissed and three, including Mr Van Hauwermeiren, were allowed to resign before the end of the investigation. It says claims of underage girls being involved were unproven.

Saturday 10 February

  • The Charity Commission says it was not given full details about the use of prostitutes by aid workers. It says it would have acted differently if it had known all the facts.
  • In a fresh story, the Times says Oxfam did not warn other aid agencies about problem staff caught using prostitutes. It emerges that Mr Van Hauwermeiren went on to work elsewhere in the aid sector.
  • Oxfam's chief executive, Mark Goldring, says the charity did "anything but" cover up the incident. But he admits the 2011 report released by the charity did not give details of the revelations, and only referred to them as "serious misconduct".

Sunday 11 February

  • Oxfam is hit with further allegations that staff on its mission to Chad, also led by Mr Van Hauwermeiren, used prostitutes in 2006.
  • The Sunday Times also reports new claims alleging more than 120 workers from UK charities were accused of sexual abuse in the past year.
  • Meanwhile, Oxfam announces new measures for the prevention and handling of sexual abuse cases.
  • Oxfam's chair of trustees, Caroline Thomson, says staff members had been coming forward with "concerns about how staff were recruited and vetted" following the recent media reports.
  • International Development Secretary Penny Mordaunt warns that ministers could cut off funding for Oxfam if it cannot account for the way it handled claims.

Monday 12 February

  • The Charity Commission, which regulates the industry, opens a statutory inquiry into Oxfam - the most serious action it can take. The watchdog says it has concerns that Oxfam "may not have fully and frankly disclosed" everything it knew about the claims.
  • The European Commission, which gave €1.7m to Oxfam's Haiti programme in 2011, threatens it is ready to "cease funding any partner not living up to high ethical standards".

Tuesday 13 February

Wednesday 14 February

Thursday 15 February

Friday 16 February

Saturday 17 February

  • Oxfam apologises in a full page advertisement in the Guardian.

The ad was paid for by supporters rather than the charity
  • Meanwhile, another charity - Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) - comes under scrutiny as the president of Haiti calls for an investigation into the activities of aid agencies working in his country. Jovenel Moïse, asks why MSF had repatriated 17 of its staff members. MSF said it takes seriously any reports of misconduct.

Sunday 18 February

  • In a separate story relating to alleged sexual misconduct in the charity sector, the husband of murdered MP Jo Cox, Brendan Cox, quits two charities set up in her memory. Mr Cox denies assaulting a woman in her 30s at Harvard University in 2015 but admits "inappropriate" behaviour while working for Save the Children.

Monday 19 February

Tuesday 20 February

  • Oxfam boss Mark Goldring and two other senior executives are hauled in front of MPs. The International Development Committee hears that around 7,000 people have cancelled donations to the charity. Mr Goldring apologises for the damage done and says 26 claims of sexual misconduct have been made since the scandal broke.

  • Save the Children chief executive Kevin Watkins also gives evidence and says his charity investigated 53 allegations in 2016. He says the Oxfam scandal has been a "wake up call" for the sector.
  • Meanwhile, a former chief executive of Save the Children, Justin Forsyth, makes headlines over three claims of inappropriate behaviour he received before leaving the charity. He says he has "apologised unreservedly" to the three workers.

So how are some of those names doing now?

Roland Van Hauwermeiren - got another job in the charity sector with Action Against Hunger.

Mark Goldring - resigned from Oxfam in 2018 with no mention about why that might be on the Wikipedia page about him, went on to a director role of another charity, Asylum Welcome. As a crossover he too was at the London School of Economics just like the mermaids pedo supporting trustee.

Penny Lawrence - I'll let her LinkedIn and this speak for itself;

Médecins Sans Frontières or Doctors Without Borders who were mentioned in the article also ended up finding a whole bunch of people needed to be gotten rid of.

And Oxfam itself. In 2021 some of its internal training got leaked. Here's a Telegraph archive but really the first couple of paragraph kind of shows how they plan to avoid future scandals like this.
An Oxfam staff training document says “privileged white women” are supporting the root causes of sexual violence by wanting "bad men" imprisoned.
In the wake of sex scandals that have rocked the charity, Oxfam has produced guidance which states that: “Mainstream feminism centres on privileged white women and demands that ‘bad men’ be fired or imprisoned”.
There's been a Farms article about that training already

IIRC "a woman" is a "timeless", "formless" entity,
some sort of Lovecraftian Elder Being, I think
(I can't remember who said that... but that was a thing)
Shon Faye said some guff about shifting constellations, iirc.

That said, schools here don't have the right to conceal information about children from their parents. There would be unlikely to be the sort of transing closets I've read about in American schools. At least I bloody hope there aren't.

Schools have been TOLD they can trans kids behind parents backs (by Mermaids and other dubious LGBT orgs) but it hasn’t been tested in court yet. Give me rainbows but I think a judge will see it very differently and once the legal floodgates open, schools will be FUCKED and will have to try and sue the orgs that did their shite ‘training’ in ‘Stonewall Law’ to recoup the compo they will have to pay parents and the now-grown kids.

The only way to end this stuff is to do a Burgerland and go legal on them (what Peter Boghossian calls waging ‘Lawfare’)

We’ve had to first chip away at the social climate to get to the point where anyone in a position to sue can feel reassured that the press and the majority will support that action, bearing in mind that it will bring a shitload of negative attention to their doorstep and most Detrans people and non affirming parents of ROGD kids have already been rinsed out emotionally in private. It’s a lot to ask a parent of a vulnerable child/young adult to take on a legal case.

Which is why Keira Bell, the anon mum on that case, Sue and Marcus Evans, Sonia Appleby, James Esses and others are fucking heroes to me (there are other cases from the free speech and women’s rights angles, and soon detrans v NHS but the above are all cases specifically relating to kids).

Same with the Christian couple from the IOW who have spent, what, 5 years? Arguing with the DfE who finally backed down a couple of weeks ago, without going to court.

I fucking hate paedos. And I have a special hatred for the paedos who not only harm kids with grooming and sex abuse, but also encourage their groomees to self mutilate so they can never truly leave it all behind them.

I do find it interesting how Jackie, who seemed to want to be a trans celeb in his late teens, is now a very mysterious figure. What is he now? Mid to late 20s? Last time I recall Ghouly Susie mentioning her ‘daughter’ it was to say he was working on posh yachts abroad?

Which seems like a grand way to escape an abusive and suffocating mother who is constantly bragging about castrating you on the basis you really liked Polly Pocket toys and your parents didn’t want a gay son.

I’ll probably be kicked off Terf Island for this, but I actually worry far more about the boys being groomed into this by actual perverts in Roblox etc than I do about the autistic girls who decide to be boys after being told it’s an option in schools.

Yeah, lopping your healthy tits off is crazy shit but millions of women live perfectly normal lives after breast cancer, or risk reduction mastectomy due to cancer causing gene faults.

But having your penis removed? Even just your testicles? Automatic medical patient for life.

Such a tiny proportion of girl troons get arm skin sausages (especially in the UK) that it’s barely a drop in the troony ocean compared to boys getting ball chops or skinned, inverted penii.

A pointless double mastectomy is more like a really extreme body mod - you’ll almost definitely live to regret it but your life can continue tit-free if you learn how to sew darts in your lady clothes and while tits are a nice addition in a sexual setting, you can still orgasm without them.

Infant formula isn’t ideal but it’s perfectly adequate.

But no genitals? No gonads? No way to produce your own necessary hormones? Being tethered to the system that disabled you forever?

Well, no wonder 41% is a thing, eh?

Ban genital surgeries and non-medically indicated oophorectomies.

Classify everything else as cosmetic body modification - hold anyone doing the procedures/supplying medications legally accountable for failing to ascertain mental health/capacity

Limit it to over 18s only.

Make it self funded only (no insurance claims or socialised medical care)

No paperwork changes. No insisting on pronouns or using spaces or services for the opposite sex.

No lobby groups in schools. No social transition in schools (wear what you want at home, lads)

I reckon it would mostly die off under those circumstances - the few that are left will be the idiot adult children of millionaire celebs, like Cher’s monstrously fat FtM daughter and Jamie Lee Curtis’ fat AGP son.

Even the munchiemoms like Susie and Helen Islan and poor fat Jazz’s game hungry mom would think twice if they had to wait for their kid to turn 18 and then pick up the entire tab.

(Also, Mumsnet went down.
Might be back up during the time it took to write this giant comment)

He has a twitter. https://twitter.com/jackiegofficial Just looks like a normal pre-op 8-inch cock tranny tbh:

Except obviously, y'know, not having functioning genitals or a sex life.

It's amazing that by taking this boy to have his dick chopped off by a Thai doctor in a practice directly taken from the cruelest pages of Asian history, Green became the leader of a (supposedly) progressive Western movement.

Puberty blockers & early genital multilation DON'T WORK. Look at Kim Petras and this guy. Hulking, obviously male ogres.

As someone on Twitter said, castrating your son for being girly is either something you'd see from a demented pre-modern warlord from the Steppes, or a model "progressive'" parent.
