Yeah, I've never understood why people need to separate into "Team Bob", "Team Barb", or "Team Chris". I'm on "Team All of Them are Total Garbage" and the rest is just semantics and time-wasting until content rolls in.
That being said, it puzzle me why people get so pissed off about things like the phantasm "reverse mortgage", yet never object to the nearly official canon that "Barb has no dementia/Alzheimers" when that is entirely based on ONE comment from Marvin, somebody who has never even MET Barb IRL! (correct me if I'm wrong on that one). Not blaming Marvin, he was just offering his opinion, not some kind of professional analysis. Also, people suffering with those conditions have good moments and bad moments. Sometimes they can be crystal clear and lucid... the next day they are wandering away from home and getting lost in neighborhoods they've lived in for 40 years.
Why I think Barb has Alzheimers or dementia: from personal experience, people with those conditions tend to lose a lot of weight as they legitimately forget to eat unless reminded to! That is why they have Ensure bottles all over their house. Ensure is not perfect, but it is better than not eating at all. One bottle can make up for several missed meals. But somebody has to remind them that they need to drink it! Does Chris seem up to that kind of regular task? Also, if it ISN'T memory-related, does anyone have an explanation why current Barb is so much skinnier than younger Barb. I don't recall her going through some "Push it to the Limit" Sports Montage arc where she changed her habits and lost weight? That would take work and she is lazy as shit. There's people here who know far more about the Chandlers than I do, and if somebody can explain how she lost so much weight with no visible change in lifestyle, I'd love to hear it! Until then, I'm assuming "Small Barb" is the result of forgetting to eat.
