Lucinda shared more info about her time in the hospital. She had organ damage from going into cardiac arrest. She was put into a coma and had surgery to have "a little box" connected to her heart (pacemaker? implantable defibrillator? medfags?).

You are correct in that assumption. Both pacemakers and ICDs have a little "box" which is the device that also contains the battery, with lead(s) that go into the heart. I'm oversimplifying but pacemakers are typically for bradycardia, but it could be either since ICDs have pacemaker functions these days. ICDs are more commonly preferred.

Anyway, doesn't sound like this was any sort of a wake-up call for her. ICDs/pacemakers are not foolproof and IIRC over half of ED-related deaths are due to sudden cardiac arrest. I know this is nitpicking but I find it fascinating how her native Spanish grammar seems to unintentionally take over when she's under stress ("don't think that because I am happy not there are physical consequences...", and there's been examples before I never bothered to point out). I know it's a little detail but I think it shows how bad she's doing. Weird grammar/spelling are usual for her but it seems to me that specific Spanish language grammar only seems to come out when she's in a difficult situation.

I know it's almost useless but I hope she gets better, she's such a sweet girl and doesn't deserve all the mental turmoil she's going thru

Bugshit crazy sweet unicorn, she says “don’t be sad it’s ok” and that somehow makes it worse.

I’m glad that she’s made her peace with dying because that has to make things less scary for her, but I’m a stranger countries away that follows her on a stalker forum and it makes me sad to read.
Said this before but I can’t imagine what her parents go through emotionally.

I’d give her all the unicorn shit and put up with a lot too because she’s a loving person to everyone but herself, it really is rare to find a not hangry skelly.

Definitely one of the most heartbreaking threads I've seen but from one of the most endearing social media presences. Unicorns should be happy and healthy, they need to be strong for their magic to work. At least she's happy though, and she has good taste in movies. Chicken Run is amazing. I don’t know about you all but I can’t even bring myself to care about the genderspecial stuff. Out of all of the cows on this site she’s one of the least outwardly offensive to other people, she doesn’t encourage people to develop eating disorders, in fact she has shown the ugly side of it on full display knowing that it will put people off. Obviously the healthcare system where she lives sucks but I just want to let her live out the rest of her probably short life doing whatever makes her happy and if that’s indulging in her delusions then so be it.

Lucinda has shared that she has a brain injury from her cardiac arrest and resuscitation. She says it feels like she has holes in her brain and she can't remember anything. It also sounds like when her family talks to her, she thinks she's responding but she's actually just sitting there. Scary.

Ugh, that hurts. I know Lucinda doesn't live in the US, but I'm wondering if she was offered or even mandated to any outpatient services.
Slight PL: I worked in the mental health field in the US. At least for the agency I was at (state-funded) people who were hospitalized for mental illness related issues (suicide attempts, overdoses, etc) were prioritized over folks on the waiting list, so they would be seen within at least a week of discharge. I know it's to assume she would follow through with services but I really hope her family is encouraging her to do so, at least after she heals up more. She's a good soul and doesn't deserve to suffer like this.
