I can't get over the fact that the most popular female writer of all time was thrown under the bus because she refused to suck girlcock. JK Rowling did something that maybe a dozen other people have done in 100 years. Harry potter is a cultural touchstone. She created a book series that captured the imagination's of an entire generation of people and because she won't bow down to sick fucks like Yaniv she is now a social pariah. No woman is going to lament being old enough to stop being catcalled. They’ll lament getting older, how wierd it is to look in the mirror and see a stranger look back, but cry about no longer getting unwanted attention from men? Hahahaha, never going to complain about that. It's like menopause, every woman is happy to trade messy, painful periods for hot flashes. We might regret not being able to have more children, but at the same time it's a relief to be done with those years.

I was at Barnes and Noble the other day, I cringed at the woke shit in fantasy novels on here then, but I didn't say anything about the sheer number of shelves - top to bottom - dedicated to Harry Potter in the childrens section. There were approximately as many shelves just for Harry Potter tat as there was in the entire fantasy section.
It's still hugely popular and probably always will be. Harry Potter is this "generations" (used broadly) LOTR. It will outlive JKR. It will outlive the freaking zoomers, because they will read it to their kids, who will read it to their kids...
I'm not saying it's Shakespeare, but remember that once upon a time Shakespeare was considered entertainment for the poor, unwashed masses. There are too many dick jokes to be taken as serious literature, and yet it has become serious literature.
