I think there's also a big (no pun intended) element of a superiority complex in there. Certainly on Corissa's part, but has rubbed off on J too because it's ubiquitous among SJWs - they all have the classic "white savior" complex as it relates to black/native/latina women in particular. What use is a successful, conventionally attractive, intelligent black woman to people like that? How are two bloody animal hoarders living in an undersized hovel supposed to feel like superior, munificent beings towards a woman who is clearly doing better than them in life by any conceivable metric?

It's what I hate the most about SJW "activism": it's never about the supposed recipient, always the benefactor. Fatties like C&J or Kelly Lenza don't give a fuck about poverty or racism as issues unto themselves, they only care about making themselves feel superior while obtaining the maximum social currency for virtue signaling about the "right" issues.

I would LOVE a schedule from C demonstrating how her dogs take up all her time for the entire day. C and J’s “entire days” are sleeping, eating and occasional low-effort gardening. I’d be extremely surprised if they’re taking the dogs for walks at all (even the seniors need some exercise), let alone giving Saul the socialization and basic obedience training he needs.

Saul is a Great Pyrenees and Anatolian Shepherd mix, both breeds that require moderate exercise— about an hour a day. A puppy like Saul shouldn’t walk as much as an adult, but he needs to go outside their yard and get some proper socialization or he’s gonna be a nightmare as a 100 elbee adult. They should walk him along the roads and he should be getting used to meeting people at this point. I don’t have experience with either breed, but they’re also apparently both somewhat difficult to train, which is all the more reason to start basic training as early as possible. They’re also both working dog breeds, which means Saul is gonna be frustrated and unmanageable if he’s bored and isn’t given some sort of job or at least enough mental stimulation. He’s going to tear up their house and is probably already a nightmare for the older dogs to deal with.

Poor girl doesn't know her own worth so she fell into online validation communities. She's burying her potential in fat and gender nonsense. I can't help seeing her as having been a broken child who needed uplifting, not life adventures - aka sitting around with a bunch of dogs playing homesteader - alongside a self-absorbed fat activist blogger.

I mean, J's hot takes suck, and they keep getting worse, but she's not on a hate-inducing Kelly level or even a Corissa level yet. She comes across as a follower who soaks up whatever she's given by whoever surrounds her. I feel like there's a meek, slightly unfeminine lesbian who loves animals hiding in there.

It's this kind of 'activism' that creates ill will towards everyone who expresses concern about social issues. It's performative, 100% about their egos, and covertly racist/sexist/any other -ist. Dragging others down to push yourself up isn't activism. The only people who want their 'support' are just like them; people seeking a platform to elevate themselves, and boost their low self-esteem, based on how very, very oppressed they see themselves as even within their own community. Both the activists and the recipients tend to cannibalize each other in the race to be the most important person in the room.

Respect for the intrinsic value of each person seemed like such a nice idea but it backfired. We aren't all special. Nobody is special, but people are seeking validation of that specialness they expect as a right of birth into adulthood. If you aren't the highest achiever, then you must be the bravest warrior battling the fiercest oppression or the worst illness or the most maligned sexual and gender identity. The person with the most stacked against them, and with the loudest voice for the bravest warriors, wins all the gold stars. Why bother trying to be happy and average, if not a wild success, when you can get more validation and release from expectations by being a brave spectacular failure?

This sucks.

Pretty easily. I have one tiny cat and I wasted the entire day clearing out boxes I'd just put in the bottom of the closet and turning that, and under the bed, into a cat paradise she can just hang out in.

I still haven't thrown away that loveseat I've been saying I was going to throw out a month ago, and my weak thin person body is tired. Anyone got J's number?
