HRT is an integral procedure to modify the nervous system and a catalyst for change in body. HRT also has been proven to alter the mind of the subject (either by placebo effect or chemically induced, is still debatable) and personality.

In laymans term: You are taking something your body doesn't need or produce too much quantity on its own, so of course it will fuck you up to unfathomable degrees.
