Doing it this way takes away their whining.
I would have thought sex M or F was clear enough, but they've already conflated sex and gender so much that I guess this is necessary. I don't mind it in general. It's clear and unambiguous.
But while it might make Kelly feel good-- even though she exhibits literally zero masculine traits besides disinterest in her offspring-- you just know Devon Price there is actually not happy about this. She's absolutely the type of person who LOVES the confusion of getting female medicines or procedures and having an M on her identity. She LIVES for those moments of bothering busy nurses with this nonsense.

His job's not well-paying. In fact, he's making a substantially lower salary than I expected him to. Either he's so socially stunted he has no idea how to negotiate raises, or he's basically a warm body doing scutwork, too reliable to fire but not accomplished enough to promote.
Admittedly, my view of what experienced people in skilled, laptop-class jobs make is permafucked by living in/near a major West Coast city, but $48K is ramen-and-roommates pay here.

I honestly wouldn't put it past Jerry to lie through his teeth when talking about finances. Kelly strikes me as someone who never does the research and will believe whatever random numbers Jerry spouts at her to get her to leave him alone.

Even in a 'from the opposing coast' and 'pretty far down south' region, $48K for someone who's been in the field for 11 years is 'what the actual fuck' pay. While not ramen-and-roommates and actually 'can afford a house if not within the major harbor city or its neighbors' pay, it's still outrageously low for someone with his work history.
Even in this region, I'd expect him to be earning a goodly amount more.

Yeah, my first impression was that he had a high paying job to keep 2 kids, a house and Kelly going. I expected 3 times as much especially to live in what I think is near Chicago.
$48k is what a new college grad should make, not someone who has been at the same job for that long.
Where does Kelly get her sped fabric money or constant McDonalds?

She's admitted previously they were only able to get a home with help from her parents. They might be helping more than she lets on. It would be a total Kelly move to accept money from her parents meant for a family vacation and use it to drag everyone with her to fat bitch camp. Does the live-in SIL work?

He prob brings in around $52,000/year take home. Kelly isn’t smart enough to realize there are 26 paychecks/year. If you factor in what is deducted from his gross (401k, medical, dental, vision, fed/state/local taxes, SS, and Medicare), he prob has a salary of $90 - $100,000/year.
I‘m just assuming their state taxes are high and that there may be some city tax. I seem to remember Kelly saying their medical plan was costly.

It's all so subjective. $2100 would be considered a reasonable and manageable mortgage in many parts of the US, and not just on the coasts (e.g., many areas of AZ, CO, MT, ID), especially for dual-income couples or families.
The obvious problem is that Kelly is a spoiled fucking brat. Budgeting is for other people, not for this ungrateful, greedy, lazy, unemployed lily-white upper-middle-class suburban terror. She's always been coddled and indulged. I do wonder how much her parents know about her beyond hypocritical teenage-like cunty rants about them and their awful privilege and disgusting money.

Count me among those who thought Jerry made a lot more and who thought Kelly was upper-middle class like Anna, they're just regular middle class (financially only, because they are trash otherwise).

Kelly, do yourself and everyone else a favor and put your phone down and go outside more. No one, absolutely no one, wants to read your a*****s explanation. You can do stuff without posting it on social media. You know that, right? Right?
And yes, chronically ill people have an issue with that. So put your fucking mask on! They don't want to die.

At the very beginning of the mask debates and people dragging autistic kids into it, I heard a developmental expert on a podcast explain how you can help your autistic kid adjust to a mask. It sounded like a pain in the ass, but not functionally that much worse than getting any persnickity small child used to a new annoying habit. Since then I've heard far more stories about autistic kids complying well with masks than refusing. Especially older autistic kids who, when wearing a mask, don't have to worry about making appropriate facial expressions that don't come naturally to them (although I'm sure losing 2 years of practice in that regard is not good for them.)
Even if that's all bullshit, she's still had 2 years to figure this out. Is her kid actually so neurodivergent that they're having screaming fit meltdowns over every single sensory thing? Or is Kelly too lazy to do normal levels of parenting? I think we all know which is more likely.
