As for trans issue, I believe it's connected with another modern issue although also from economics fields - the abundance of free time and wellfare system.

You seem to be on the money with this, all troons I know spend the entire day playing vidya or sperging or begging for things in twitter/reddit/whatever. They dislike work more than any other collective I've witnessed on the wild, and most don't even have hobbies outside games/porn/cartoons/sperging.
