The /GirlGamers just screams FETISH to me. There is like zero reason why would any female who likes playing computer games join a community that focuses on gender of the player, not on the game itself.

Most of the posts on r/girlgamers consists of women and girls ranting about misogynists and gamer guys that have subzero social awareness while sharing girly set ups that would get you laughed at on r/battlestation. There's also a lot of talk about "comfy" games like stardew valley, AC and the like because on other subreddits they're not considered real games. Honestly most girls only spaces usually consist of women venting about men and nowadays serve little to no purpose. It's hilarious to see the type of discords posted there

Like, I want to clarify that being into these things isn't inherently bad on its own. It's okay to be a girl who likes The Sims and Stardew Valley and whatever, and liking the color pink. My problem is with people who make it their entire personality, or act like any genre that fits outside the 'casual gamer' mold is for Gross Icky Men.

Of course they're a fucking Aiden. I've said this before but girls who are like "I hate being a woman and being feminine!!" and then decide to be a man, and then decide to be a FEMININE man, feels like it reeks of misogyny.
