I suppose it has to do with whatever precedent this will set. Realistically, there will no-doubt be genuine attempts at transplanting uteruses into TiMs, but they'll all end in catastrophic failure. Then it'll be more of what we see now. Transsexuals whining about how they can't "feel like real women" without uteruses and demanding scientists find a way to alter the human genome to allow them to gain uteruses with male DNA. An utterly ludicrous idea, but we all know they'd entertain it if it meant forcing people to do what they want.
