He actually makes way more than most jobs, enough to easily live off of but it's just that his spending is entirely out of control. If he wasn't addicted to gacha, he'd easily be able to live well without panicking over not having enough for his days off but his need to spend means that he's spent up by the end of the day, if not sooner. Any normal person making the amount Phil does wouldn't be struggling because the issue here isn't the amount he makes but that Phil can't budget for shit. Keep in mind that this is after losing over 100k in cc debt in the bankruptcy and he's making far more than before it. Just to show how shit he is at handling his money, he never saves a single cent for his taxes and just expects for the wheelchairs to pay them for him through tips with him just relying on being on payment plans because it's less to pay in one go.

Phil has multiple ways to save money. Stop using doordash and cook for himself, Stop whaling on gacha, buy cheaper shit than the most expensive, stop paying for superfluous streaming services (including WWE) and shop at cheaper stores. But that would mean compromising something, which Phil will never do. He just expects to keep being able to buy the same amount and if that goes up (like when the vest streak first happened) then that becomes the new floor amount he needs to survive. All because he refuses to save any money, even for a "rainy day fund".

He'll never get a job that will pay him anywhere near how much he makes now while allowing him to be as toxic and lazy as he is now and he knows it. Phil's fucked up his image so much that he'd only be able to hold a job that doesn't have him being seen by the public and Phil's ego won't allow him to take something like that. And he'd never be able to hold any kind of job nowadays. He can't handle any criticism, flying of the handle at his own customers if they say something that slightly offends his sensibilities, is almost never on time for his own schedule and he does all this while expecting no form of punishment.
I think the best way to describe the dude is: A lazy shit that doesn't understand how the real world works. He keeps complaining about not having any money, while also paying for brand new games (60$ each) and for gaming consoles that can sometimes go up to the price of 500$.

Lawyer Phil is best Phil. The way he interpets every legal issue just so happens (by total coincidence!) to favour him. Strange how that works.

Every day at work I see people channeling the Renton Retard and it gives me a giggle when they think they know better than I and the court.

I can kinda respect the stupid I see in court because they put their money where their mouth is. Phil however, is an absolute coward and pontificates on his legal woes so he can slide into his begging, knowing full well he won't do shit.
I can't imagine Phil suing anyone on his own accord. The Guy is such a lazy bastard even if he had fuck-you money he wouldn't sue someone if he had to appear in court. All he wants to do is talk out of his ass anyway. Bitching is directly linked to making money. Suing is too cumbersome a way to make money for him.

doesn't understand how the real world works.
Careful, watch too much content and you start picking up on DSPisms. Even still your sentiment is right.

I still don't understand where Phil gets the idea that his partnership removal was considered a breach of contract. I don't believe he is fully talking out of his ass since he usually makes sure his lies have a bit of credibility or are technical truths ("we didn't just get Jasper, we've had him for months").
9. Term and Termination. The term of this Agreement will begin upon our acceptance of your Program application and will end when terminated by either you or us. Either you or we may terminate this Agreement at any time, with or without cause, by giving the other party written notice of termination.

Granted, this little snippet is from the Affiliate agreement, but I'm positive the same clause exists in the Partnership agreement as well. Twitch reimbursement is essentially at-will contract work in agreement between both parties. According to this little piece, when removing Phil from the Partnership program, they did nothing wrong and everything correct.

Even if the termination was a breach and Phil believes they wer in violation of his worker's rights, WA is an at-will state so it wouldn't matter. Beyond that, as stated, Twitch streaming is technically contract work.
I think he sees it like this
with or without cause
They gave him a cause which was the hateful slurs which he doesn't accept because he didn't say nigger and was wholesome anytime else. He tried to get proof which he didn't get, therefore Twitch doesn't have justification for the cause they have used to essentially fire him. Yeah, they could have just stated any other reason or posted any of the billion clips but they seemingly don't BECAUSE THEY ARE EVIL and making shit up. He also got the idea from somewhere that someone sent in the dead space 2 clip which caused it which is technically proof but that was a million years ago and shouldn't count because there is a statue of limitations on internet clips apparently. If only we could apply that logic to the helicopter company story *sigh*.

So there is no clips, but also there is one but the clip can't be used.

In the end, this is mainly illegal because it made him earn less money if you consider very specific conditions.

That and he's become SO comfortable with his lifestyle, this is all he knows. Phil is a cautionary tale of This Is How You Don't Life Life: from coming into that sweet YouTube ad revenue early on to making cash hand over fists to now begging retards for their SSI checks.

Phil reminds me of every lottery winner, who came into wealth, despite NOT having a strong foundation on how to handle that kind of money, and blowing it all on stupid shit a la the statues, the BMW, etc...and always thinking that they're "One big thing away.", they have to keep believing in what is known as the sunk cost fallacy. Phil truly believes he is "one big thing away." to "getting that groove back." However, reality is slamming on Phil's door and he's doing everything he can to avoid it...and I'll be here laughing at the hijinks of the shit he got himself into, while screaming into that camera that "It's the detractors fault this is happening!" When will it happen? Not sure, however, I'm sure the writers are cooking something up in the writers room some good stuff.

Hi, Phil!

On the subject of DoorDash, is the quality of food he keeps getting indicative of US takeaway? The local Habeeb in Euroland makes food that looks 10x more appetizing than what Goutler has had on Feasting With the Hog so far.

The whole DoorDash thing in general is such a tragedy, with the amount of money he's blowing on literal pigslop he could unironically be Feasting like a King - what a fucking waste. If the Pig knew anything about cuisine he'd know that the better your ingredients are the less work it is to prepare ( generally speaking ). I could cook The Guy and his Clydesdale a robust meal the likes of which he has never devoured in half the time it takes for the DoorDash guy to even pick up his slop.

My brain can't handle having a food budget like his and choosing to have fucking pancakes delivered, what a shame.

If I had a real adult full-time soul maid; I'd be like "Ingredients are in the fridge, we're having lasagna at least three times a week. If you need help, recipe is in the book on the counter." Or God forbid I had a job where I could stay home and she has to leave the house; I'd just stream from the kitchen, because I can, and it'd be fucking cool.

Not from the land of the free but his doordash take out looks like something hastily put together by a minimum wage worker who doesn't give a fuck and just wants to make as many orders a possible, and to be fair he does mostly get things on doordash from major chain restaurants, but sometimes he doesn't, like that Indian and Filipino food he got that still looked pretty unappetising, for what he paid for anyway.

It is very surreal that he spends more then enough money to justify spending it on gourmet or fine dining restaurants, but he doesn't, the only time he did was with Leanna, they would go out for Spanish Tapas from time to time.

I'm looking at this and I keep asking myself how he gets his beard so...uneven. The right side looks clean-shaven almost, and then there are the patches on his chin.

Just...how is this possible?
He likely picks at it with tweezers out of habit or stress relief, depending on your genetics it only takes a few consistent times of tweezing the same area for it to develop noticeable bald/thin spots.

Phils has been breaking the 24 hour exclusivity rule since day one, Twitch had the ability to remove him from the partner program the entire time Phil was part of it.

When Phil is bitching about Twitch *close up* "BREAKING THE LAW" *clown box dun dun dun* it is 100% pure grade A Copium.

Howard was making urban explorer vids not too long ago, and then just stopped.
In a alternate reality somewhere, where phil is a well-adjusted human being, he's recording urban explorations with John/Howard, doing fitness challenges from his fans, and announcing that his second child is on the way. A true variety streamer whose superchats flow like wine, and not a autistic idiot who begs online.

The issue is generally that the food has been sitting for like 30-45 minutes by the time you get it, in addition to having (potentially) been bounced around in a vehicle. So if the food is best eaten piping hot and fresh, there's a good chance it's going to look like shit by the time it's delivered. For stuff like sandwiches or pizza or whatever, delivery's not a big deal, but for a lot of different food, it makes a huge difference.

Edit: Just thought of it like this--imagine you make yourself some dinner, but instead of eating it right away, you let it sit on the counter for 30 or 40 minutes. Then you dig in. Will it still be good? Maybe. But certainly not as good as when you first put it on a plate.

TL;DR: Phil's paying an excessive amount of extra money to have food brought to him in such a way that it will be objectively worse.

i wonder why phil would do that? can't he set it up where youtube videos become available at exactly 24 hours after his stream ends?

He would do that because he knows everything better than anyone else. He could set it up ... but he is busy, he has a family and streams six days a week, so no time for that!

@MAWBD gave the official answer.

Phil is a fucking idiot, he can't even upload his videos in the correct order after 14 years on YouTube so how exactly do you imagine him being able to to what you describe?
