It would be funny if someone dropped Phil a package filled with his favorite fruit kiwis, favorite movie Ghostbusters (but have the dvd case empty), a "How to Exorcise a Demon from your Home" book, some hay, and a broken wolverine toy.

Although, what I have noticed is that Phil's detractors are lazy and wouldn't do that. Probably because Phil ain't worth getting out of a chair to prank his ass. Phil is lucky to have detractors like us who don't do much, unlike the other lolcows on this site who get fucked with a lot more and far worse than he does.

I would't be surprised if Phil some how mentions that the shooter was possibly a troll from kiwifarms and how he is going to come for us for threatening his prized mare. Sifu from the looks of things he'll wage quit, it's an unforgiving game with an interesting but too complex for grog (and polygon and kotaku) death mechanic which is almost roguelite with a learning curve...a game tailor made for the passionate pro-gamer with amazing skills the one the only DarkSydePhil. He'll shit on the small french studio the entire time.

Elden Ring is going to just be chain complaining and bitching, RR martin has made from software lose it's way, the PS5 is making him die, something something gamepass something something. He'll finish it by Christmas or wagequit it cause he plays games horribly and at a paraplegic snail's pace.

I was rewatching some of Metokurs oldest videos, when I stumbled upon a "BrightSideBob" stream, where Metokur does pretty much what our dear commentators do like Piece of Peace and An1337.

The stream I was watching is 7 years old and someone probably could just cut Metokurs old commentary on current gameplay and it would work just fine.

What he maybe are going for is suspension of disbelief, always an interesting discussion to be had.

IMO it differs from game to game and the tone the gane is going for. The important bit is that the game establishes a rule set for its world and stay consistent.

Phil bitching about realism in a CoD game is retarded, CoD is not ARMA and never pretended it was, but Phils realism bitching is almost always because he got his shit pushed in and refuse to entertain the idea that he might be at fault.

Can't give you a good answer other than money. Whales really dictate what he will play. He is known for vetoing polls and them being rigged a lot until it meets his criteria of what he can tolerate. One Piece, Skyrim, Lost Judgement, Dangan etc are determined on BTS bullshit he does on what is being played.
The polls are worthless until he gets a whale to snag on them. Like look at Gamepass shit, all but One Piece were just simply walk and do fuckin nothing games. What determines what is on the poll? Which one ended up being the winner there for first pick? Yeah the whaled one. He hasn't touch a Musou game since the Zelda one and now he's down for it.

And then if something does get requested by non whales (RE4 for example), he pulls the "YOU guys REQUESTED it! What's going on!?". when tips are low. Whale ones like Judgement he also does the guilt trip of "Everyone thank (whale) for contributing the most" like in Judgement.

i accidentally bought the deluxe edition of Sifu because i'm a miserable wreck of a human.

so guess i'll have some knowledge for when phil plays it tomorrow
