I think this is more of a side effect of "a broken clock is right twice a day" regardless of the intention.
I've never heard a single person say they regret getting the vaccine. On the other hand, I have heard people say they won't get it because "everyone is going to get Omicron" and that "it just makes you not as sick so it's pointless."
So in other words, you're telling me you won't get the vaccine because it works?

some of my family members are that weird little subset of anti-vaxx where they know the virus is a real threat, but still think vaccines are dangerous and medical professionals are just paid shills who'll cram an incubator down your throat the second you step into a hospital for any reason.
they didn't get to feel vindicated! 
probably caught them by surprise when my mom got covid and all the hospital did was give her oxygen and iv drips before sending her back home when she recovered.

That's not what that picture was though. It was people actually tatooing the date they got vaccinated on their arm and the other picture had a fatso with their vaccination card tattoed on his arm.
When you have no personality or interesting qualities, I guess getting a tattoo of whatever "current year" madeup controversy is popular can be a sufficient alternative.
