idubbbz absolutely has some great material to make *something*.

The problem most definitely is that he doesn't come out in a good light no matter how he spins it. Making Sam "look bad" at the cost of also looking bad gives him little incentive to release anything. What could he honestly show in his footage that we don't see in this footage? He's getting clowned boxing under a bridge, he's getting clowned being taught how to drive a stick, he's getting clowned in the interview, etc. etc.

Even if he plays it off like "I wanted to do something serious and look how these retards acted!" it'd be like "Well what did you fucking expect, retard?"

That's what makes the whole situation funny, even if the "documentary" itself isn't that funny and why you see so many 2021/2022 accounts not seem to understand it.
 
After sitting through the documentary, honestly I would have to say that there are several moments that geniniely had me laughing to tears. I think if anything Sam could not of executed this any better than he did. Ian looked like a complete toolshed through out his entire visit and just found every way to make him feel as akward and uncomfortable as you would expect the Same Hyde character would make Ian feel.

The fact that during the interview Ian threw that entire bit about Sam telling him to lift, meanwhile not even a half an hour in Ian's first day there, he already has him boxing, and giving him training advice in the most over the top way under a rundown bridge. That being Ian's big gotcha moment and then him falling short with egg on his face as the interview went on was remarkable. I don't geniniely think Sam was actually looking to dunk on Ian, but this was just too fucking funny in too many aspects. The aspect that Ian didn't bother to release the video just shows that he wanted to make Sam and MDE to look bad. Though if anything it was a complete circus, what would anyone else want in that type of situation? If anything Ian just takes himself a bit too seriously for a guy that does meme videos. The documentary with in a documentary aspect made this video complete genius.

A trojan horse with in a trojan horse type of situation really. Kind of like how Ian had the interview turned around on him, the entire point of the bit was to gaslight Ian. Which at the end of the day, Sam ended up getting the better of him, without coming off in a way that would of put him in a bad light in my mind at least. It's hard to make people like Ian entertaining, which Sam managed to do, because watching him seethe was what made this entire ride worth it.

Why else would someone ask mulitple people in their circle "how to get rid of things on hard drives" and then smash everything to bits which was witnessed by his long time sound engineer who also knew he had cp on them. Sam might have been smart at one point and narrowly gotten away with it but I guarantee if he doesn't die from a heart attack from being obese and abusing roids he will most certainly eventually get caught.

Lmao what the fuck did Ian expect to happen? I was only dissapointed that Sam didn't fully go through with the whole document antics, as others have mentioned, but still - It went alright and was an entertaining vid imo.
Maybe 2022 isn't that bad (watch me regret that statement in a month or so).

If anything, being visited by the FBI twice and having nothing come of it is evidence he didn't do anything.

You know you can verify this for us with a FOIA request. The same was done with Lowtax when he claimed he was subpoenaed by the Secret Service.

Time to back up the claims.
 
Also to be fair to sam about the doc being funnier than the actual video, he did have that disclaimer about it only being a third of the actual footage because idubbz cucked out and refused to release or share what he had. I wouldn't be surprised at all if there was a decent amount of funny shit that happened in the other 2/3rds.
 
I watched Sam's video three times already.

First watch was surreal, it was like I had a window into something I shouldn't be seeing.

Second watch was appreciating the depth of the comedy on display, mostly spent laughing like a retard who just got handed some candy.

Third watch was more analytic, my autism came on display & dissected most of the interaction between Sam & Ian.

While it was an amazing watch, I was left with a few questions.

1.) What was the intention of fucking with Ian? Was it simply a way to get laughs from him & his audience, or was it legit meant to fool him into believing the jokes were real?
If it was meant to be believable, then based on what we saw really only the fake GF, Jet & the heavyset rapper dude pulled it off IMO. Sam especially was trying too hard & it
was obvious to the veiwer as well as Ian. If just to get laughs, well it accomplished that with me personally. Although a lot of their adlib sketch humor doesn't
resonate with me (like the ghost sucker stuff), I appreciate the general vibe of the whole crew, must be pretty fun being involved.

2.) Why didn't Ian speak up once he realized it was all a show? It's obvious he smelled BS from the start, but he never called them out on it. For that reason I put the ultimate
blame on Ian for the doc being "ruined" (in his eyes) & subsequently scrapped. He kinda went into autism mode & shut down. Anytime Sam was throwing banter his way, he had nothing to reciprocate. Honestly it was hilariously painful to watch. I think Ian was thrown off by Sam's energy & willingness to engage, but most of the tension came from the whole squad being there. He probably expected more one-on-one situations, but the fact that he didn't just call them out at the start is what I feel "ruined" the documentary. In short he fucked it up himself.

3.) I'm not sure what the intention of documenting Sam was, but I did get the feeling it had to do with "dunking on a washed-up alt right comedian" who as a bonus had spurned him in the past by copyrighting a video (a reinforcing argument to make him look bad). During the interview portion when Ian talked about making Sam look bad on purpose then said "jk bro", I got the feeling that what he said was genuine to a degree but then he walked it back as a joke. I'm sure many of you have said something derogatory which you actually meant to someone through the veil of a joke, as I myself have. Either way it seems obvious to me that Ian had a particular narrative he wanted to craft but was unable to. At worst he could've uploaded the footage to his second channel with an introduction explaining the situation. The fact that he didn't tells me this was less for entertainment & he had something more "serious" in mind.

Either way I'm glad we all have another cool video to watch. Props to everyone involved
 
I'm only at the interview portion of the video, but I think it's absolutely hilarious that iDubbbz's origin, where his "passion for filmmaking" comes from, is Sam Hyde being a dick to him through email seven years ago. Jesus Christ, Ian

Ian just giving up free self owns. The fact he held onto an eight year grudge, his resentment of his fans, and his "girlfriend" getting him into lifting. Not his fiance or his future wife but his girlfriend. Tells you where that niggas heart is.

1) He wanted to go back to his Content Cop era antics like he did with that bitch I forgot her name, but this time he picked a meanie "right wing" icon to show everyone "he still has it".

2) Because cucks are passive bitches by nature when they interact with even slightly more alpha males than them in real life.
