So I have a buddy who works at a dealership, they looked up the VIN# of Chris's van on Carfax and apparently the story checks out.
It shows it was Tboned and the air bags not deployed is more likely a result of it being totalled. If it goes on a wrecker and right to a junk yard they don't care/check that

Apparently members of the family have stepped in to assist Barb due to a major car accident on 24 Nov. I wonder how things will play out? Obviously Barb is in no state to be living independently and alone, and there is no fucking way they can be helping her without seeing the filthy, atrocious living conditions in 14BC. So the question is, what will they do with Barb? Force her to move in with them? Press for her to be placed in assisted living, possibly even going through the courts to do so? People with dementia can have some degree of independent living, I knew someone who had it and before they were even close to severe dementia, family members and even neighbours had to come by and assist with their daily lives, things like cooking, washing the dishes and so on. If you left it to them, you would come back to soapy dishes on the drying rack, unfinished food left over on a cutting board, not to mention when they forget they left the oven on!

What makes it all more difficult is that even if we don't take her videos in consideration, she is still a very manipulative person. So a demented Barb might be able to work her way out of the hospital just like a healthy Barb could!

Precisely, as you said, family is family. Most people won't leave relatives to rot in squalor even if they were shunned as Barb and Chris are. And even if they hated Barb, they might have been afraid of some possible legal or spiritual consequences lol!

Mostly a straight line, steady speed, etc. The problems occur more when they need to operate in an urban setting with turns, varying speeds, stops, etc. <I think most people here have seen elderly relatives lose the ability to drive and understand this>.

Second: Even before this episode, no BDSM group would have let Chris in. They vet members because of people like Chris. Rapey types want in, and thus they vet the fuck out of people. You also need to submit Sexually Transmitted Disease blood work for many. Also they don't want unwashed disgusting types.
