When I first said I was surprised Chris never sought out these groups, I didn’t mean going directly to any sort of play party. Aren't settings like that not unusual places for like, serial killer types to trawl for victims? Specifically killers who are gay and target other gay men. I feel like I've read more than one serial killer tale where they would go to clubs or get-togethers for kinky stuff like that to pick up men. Chris definitely has the presence of a serial killer. I would expect especially if it's a social situation where participants may quickly progress to sexual activity, they'd want to be sure a nutcase isn't gonna walk in.

He definitely needs severe mental health assistance 10 years ago. Not sure that it was rape though.

For years Barb demanded that Chris get in bed with her and allowed him to be a surrogate for Bob. Her own mental health is definitely questionable, as we'd seen in during the Financhu Crisis videos but there's probably a good reason the court hasn't charged Chris with rape. Everyone assumes she's deeply afflicted by dementia/Alzheimer's but there's zero proof of that.

Chris can and will be pulled out of this really bizarre alternate reality coping mechanism. There's no way he's going home after this and I assume that a group home/psychiatric facility will be in his future. A year+ of IRL therapy away from the Internet is going to do wonders for him
