Crime Joggers being raycist against Asians megathread

I was about to post a couple more articles on Asians getting beat/murdered by Joggers but realized it’s becomes such a common occurrence in MAGA country, ie Chicago, Detroit, New York, etc., that it’s probably best to make a mega thread instead.

Look out for articles that mention an Asian was attacked but is mum about the ethnicity of the attacker. They could be anyone, but it’ll be interesting to track.

24-year-old who recently earned his master's from University of Chicago is shot, killed in Hyde Park

Friends and community members gathered on Wednesday evening to light candles and leave notes and flowers in an area in Hyde Park where a University of Chicago graduate was shot and killed during a robbery.

What happened: On Tuesday, Shaoxiong “Dennis” Zheng, 24, was on the sidewalk on the 900 block of East 54th Place, an area known as a neighborhood of doctors and professors, before 2 p.m., when the deadly attempted robbery occurred, CBS Chicago reported.

  • Witnesses recalled seeing a man with a mask in a black hooded sweatshirt get out of a car that pulled up to where Zheng was walking. A brief struggle ensued before the suspect fatally shot Zheng in the chest, according to Chicago Tribune.
  • The suspect immediately fled in a dark-colored sports car. It was not made clear if the gunman managed to take anything from Zheng during the incident.
  • A doctor, who wished to remain anonymous, told Chicago Tribune he was "a few minutes too late" when he attempted to provide first aid to Zheng. "It all happened pretty fast. I did maybe 30 chest compressions, and the paramedics were already here," he said.
  • Emergency responders took Zheng to the nearby University of Chicago Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead at 2:13 p.m., which the university confirmed through a statement on Tuesday.
  • The university said it had spoken with Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot, Chicago Police Supt. David Brown and other members of the mayor’s team about the wave of violence that has hit the community recently.
  • The Chinese American Association at Greater Chicago has set up a GoFundMe campaign to help Zheng's family travel from China to the U.S. The crowdfunding campaign has a $25,000 goal but has already raised more than $38,000 as of this writing.

The aftermath: Community members gathered and held a vigil in the area where Zheng was murdered on Wednesday. Some students also reflected on the tragic event that brought fear to those living in Hyde Park.

  • “I remember him because he's always willing to help others,” a student named Xi told CBS Chicago. “I kind of feel connected because we’re both from China, and I can totally understand it’s really hard for the family. I can’t imagine what would happen to my parents if they just received a call that says, ‘Your daughter has been…’ I just feel connected and really sad.”
  • Mei Wang, director of the statistics master’s program, described Zheng as a “motivated, independent and intellectually curious” student. He received his master’s degree in statistics in July.
  • “He aspired to be a data scientist who could solve important problems facing our society, and who could help people to help more people,” Wang told Chicago Sun-Times.
  • The victim “was not only a promising scholar but also a wonderful person, always willing to help other students,” Professor Dan Nicolae said. “He will be missed by all who knew him.”
  • “We feel this is really, really probably the worst year for U of Chicago,” a woman told Chicago Sun-Times. “We feel we have to do something, you just cannot let it go on forever.”

The violence: Hyde Park has seen five murders this year and at least 16 shooting incidents, according to police data.

  • “The five murders in Hyde Park this year are shocking and demand action, but we also must not lose sight of the fact that there are many other neighborhoods in the city that year after year suffer many more homicides and shootings — and that too should be shocking,” Roseanna Ander, executive director of the University of Chicago Crime Lab and Education Lab, said.
  • The city saw 336 homicide cases for the first half of 2021, which is two more than the same period in 2020 and 33% more than the 252 cases in 2019, NBC Chicago reported. There were also 1,892 shootings through June 28, from the beginning of the year.

Don't forget the granddaddy of them all: Korean businesses being destroyed during the LA Riots. And according to NBC, the Koreans are to blame for this destruction specifically when a storeowner shot and killed a black teen before the riots happened, was convicted of voluntary manslaughter but got a light sentence. So they used what ended up causing the riots as cover to get revenge.

America, please do better and teach your blacks language skills. I can't even understand what she is screeching about.

In fairness, that's a global issue. UK blacks, Australian blacks - especially the younger they are - are just utterly incomprehensible. Listening to them trying to speak is like watching a golden retriever trying to eat a toffee.

Idk it sucks when innocents get jogged, but I'm really looking forward to watching all the AZN and hapa fellow travellers get literally backstabbed

They were already archived but I just wanted to post them here.

"He had just gotten his driver's license; he was in a new relationship. He had the whole world in front of him, and this happened," said Nick Jackson, friend.

Jackson lived in the same apartment building as his friend near campus, and said residents there have grown close.
I honesty can’t tell if this person is talking about the victim or the perpetrator?

God the MSM sucks. It’s “He (name of person being talked about) had just gotten his driver’s license…”

Pretty sure most of us don't believe the white supremacy nonsense and just spout safe talking points since I think we generally don't go looking for trouble lol
Yes, but the silent majority is getting beaten daily. And the powers that be approve by proxy, including the vegetable in the White House, will do nothing. The media never mentions that it's Blacks who for whatever reason have a pathological hatred of Asians that is more than immigration issues. Or they would be shoving leaf blowers up Juan's ass.

I know it's a tired meme but Roof Koreans made their tormentors think twice and retreat. There's a Minecraft story about Shinto warriors or another Asian equivalent dressing incognito and standing back in areas of repeated violence such as a NYC train. And one day violent thugs start to assault and torment Asian students. All of a sudden from the next train car, a half dozen men arrive with finely crafted lightweight yet very strong hidden wooden instruments.

The following day Asians students welcome their adrenal glands having a much needed rest.

UPDATE: The suspects in the attack have been charged with ethnic intimidation and other related offenses. The mother of one of the suspects also spoke with NBC10 and apologized to the victims. New details here.

An investigation is underway after several teen girls were captured on video attacking a group of students on a SEPTA train in Philadelphia.

The incident occurred on a Broad Street Line train near SEPTA's Erie Station around 3:30 p.m. Wednesday.

Video of the attack shows a group of teen girls repeatedly punching and screaming at another group of teens on the train. One of the attackers also punches, knocks over and repeatedly kicks a teen girl before slapping her with her shoe. NBC10 is not showing the video out of respect for the victims.

The attackers in the video are African American while the victims appear to be Asian or Asian American. Investigators have not said whether or not the attack was racially motivated or what led to the incident, only describing the victims as "students."

A SEPTA spokesperson called the incident “violent and disturbing.” He also said no serious injuries were reported.

SEPTA Police, Philadelphia Police, Philadelphia School Administration officials, School District Police and the Philadelphia Human Relations Commission are all investigating the incident.

The SEPTA spokesperson said they've identified individuals involved in the attack. They continue to interview witnesses and review cellphone video of the incident as well as surveillance video.

In response to the video, Philadelphia City Councilman David Oh called on SEPTA and the Philadelphia School District to increase security measures.

"There has to be a response by the police, by SEPTA school safety officers, formerly known as school police, and by SEPTA itself," Oh said. "It has a police force and we need to see them."

If you have any information on the incident, call SEPTA Police at 215-580-8111

What's funny about race hustlers bitching about Wu's win is that she's so woke she promised the black community to do something about clubs and bars not playing hip hop.
only describing the victims as "students."
New euphemism for black criminals just dropped. (Shit, just realized this was about the victims, more like: new euphemism for the victims of black criminals.)

Koreatown was attacked because it was close to South Central and because blacks hate more successful minorities probably even more than they hate whites.

The media never mentions that it's Blacks

It's the same here in Asia, they don't mention it if it's a minority and people have noticed the double standards. However for now the media knows not to lean on identity politics too much since I think we can see how it has played out in Northern America in general.

They're infantilized because they're children, and this video highlights that.

EDIT: on second thought, even children comport themselves with more grace and maturity than joggers.

‘We paid a price for being a hero’: GoFundMe for teenage SEPTA hero raises over $700,000

A crowdfunding campaign set up to help Christina, the teenager who stood up to bullies and was beaten on a Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority (SEPTA) train last week, has surpassed its initial $10,000 goal by raising more than $702,435, as of Nov. 22.

Tons of support: The GoFundMe campaign, set by YLin Chen, Christina’s mother, and Michael Chen, Christina’s brother, said that Christina has now been released from the hospital after suffering the severe beating last week, according to local news site Billy Penn. The 18-year-old will also receive mental support from a therapist while recovering from her physical injuries. B7A6CEE2-4853-44C9-A1A5-D4D2F2619715.jpeg
  • “As her family, we will continue to campaign against Asian hate crimes in the school district of Philadelphia,” the teenager’s family wrote. “In addition, we are actively advocating for the safety of school students when taking public transportation.”
  • More than 13,000 people have donated to the GoFundMe campaign.
  • “Thank you guys, we never expected to pass the 1000 dollar mark,” Michael Chen said in an update. “My sister could not make any public appearances due to her injuries, so my uncle Mike and our family friend Jack Zhao spoke in her place.”

What happened: Speaking to reporters, Christina’s aunt, Mei Lu, recounted the incident and said her niece, a Central High School student, was trying to defend a group of Asian American students who were also on the train, according to 6ABC.

  • “I ask her, 'Because you think the boys are Asian you want to protect your own ethnicity?' And she said, 'No. No matter if they're Asian, African American, Caucasian, I am doing the right thing,’” Lu said, sharing the conversation she had with Christina.
  • The teenager was riding on the Broad Street Line on Wednesday Nov. 17 when she witnessed a group of Black teens bullying Asian American Central High School students. She immediately intervened, but the aggressors turned their focus on her and started assaulting her.
  • The suspects, described to be aged between 13 and 16, kicked and punched Christina, even slamming her head on the train door. One of the attackers was filmed using her shoe to strike the teenager lying on the ground.
  • While SEPTA Police Chief Thomas Nestel and others from the community hailed Christina as a hero, her mother viewed the brutal incident differently.
  • “She says she saw that but every time when friends and people from the community gave her support and her love, every time [they] said hero, the word, her mother’s heart was broken. We paid a price for being a hero,” Lu told CBS Philly.

The aftermath: The incident was reported to the SEPTA police following the attack, leading to the arrest of four female suspects. Nestel said one of the attackers’ mothers reported her daughter after seeing the viral video of the assault, according to NBC Philadelphia.

  • All suspects are facing several charges, including aggravated assault and ethnic intimidation, the Philadelphia District Attorney's Office said on Thursday. The DA added that one of the assailants was charged with one count of robbery for attempting to steal AirPods from a victim.
