Well that's more like a "direct command".I also like the ambiguity of 'change that'.
What's really ambiguous is what Phil means by "support". It's an extremely sugar-coated way of saying "pay me", because one could look at it and think supporting a streamer could entail simply showing up, subscribing, liking the vidoe, etcetera.
Why do his playthroughs need support? Usually in the context of supporting a project, one has to help it make the necessary funds in order to keep going or helping with investments. So what is the exact metric a playthrough needs in order to continue? Does Phil invest any more money into a playthrough than the initial amount he paid in order to play the game?
Lost Judgement should have long exceeded it with the $1000 tips war. And Game Pass games shouldn't require that much support because they're so cheap to play.
He talks about people needing to donate so he can maintain streaming as his livelihood, but why is that the responsibility of the viewer? Moreover he refuses to explain exactly why the money he gets from Youtube isn't enough to keep his lifestyle the way it is, despite claiming he's "cut every expense" in a household without children.
Christ it's no wonder the only people who aren't banned at this point are those who tip and then leave the streams without asking any questions. Remember that one Superchatter who asked if Phil was hosting a charity cause with his obscene $150 Tips Goal so Phil got assblasted, banned him, and then changed the Goal to 50 increments to hide how much he was actually asking for?
