As others have already pointed out, all this shit is a complete waste of time no magic "blown up 2,000x pixel" is going to change what the jurors (and all of us) have seen over and over and over on tape already. I disagree because the square pixels of the display are also artifact-producing. There is a reasonable argument to be made that displaying a blown-up video with bicubic interpolation is no more disingenuous than displaying a small image on a TV, and is certainly better than nearest-neighbor for real-life video content.

This is fair, though I would argue that an image that is zoomed with no interpolation is still going to be closer to reality than one that's being zoomed in with additional interpolation. Nearest-neighour is certainly worse, but any interpolation is going to potentially introduce data into an image that is a result of what amounts to "Guesswork". I know this is an oversimplification, and I'll likely not argue further.

The prosecution is clearly trying to make use of media that looks favourable thanks to the interpolation used, which is really my main point. 47 appears to be doing his best to argue the same as I'd argue... though he's doing it without really knowing anything about technology. (Though obviously nobody in that room does, except perhaps Dr. Black.)
