Despite all their screeching about "OPPRESSION!" and "MUH LYFE IN DUNGAR!" they've never really had to defend themselves. In the cases where they get mugged, they just take it. In fairness, Barnes talks a lot of bullshit and has never seen a high-profile case where he didn't claim to have tons of dirt on the lawyers involved.
 
I was nearly tearing my ears off listening to Binger today, and not hearing the defense do any of the objecting that they should have done. The only reason I can think of is they were hoping Binger would fuck up again (preferably making Rittenhouse cry), because they can read that the jury & judge has had it with the prosecution, and were using that entire time to type up the motions needed to dismiss. The weren't just sitting there, and the few times the camera showed the defense table it seemed like they were working on something, not just letting Binger blow his load. And saving the self-defense expert until tomorrow was a good move.

I remember a lot of surplus Soviet 7.62x39 was hollow-tip; the way I heard it described by guys with autistic levels of ballistics experience, is that it helps stabilize the round in flight, while helping them tumble on impact when the hollow-tip is collapsed/crushed. And from everything I've seen personally over the years, it's not far from the truth.

The judge asked if they could get their expert witness in in 20 minutes and Richards said absolutely not then the judge asked if they wanted to continue tomorrow. Could've been a joke now that I think about it since I completely forgot it was veteran's day tomorrow. He also asked if they wanted to go on through Saturday but it sounds like they're going to break and conclude on Monday.

I think the idea was to just let both the jury and the judge see just how ridiculous the prosecution was being. Why object when the idiots will just continue to make themselves look stupid? That’s only a plus for your side, especially if Kyle keeps it together, which he did. Makes him look more honest and upfront than if the defense kept stopping any questions.

Yeah, it just goes to show how on the backfoot 'we' are. And by 'we', I don't mean 'us'. Just people who probably have fuck all in common and more than likely wouldn't even get on in real life, apart from the fact we have some kind bat-shit crazy and wacky ideas about fair play and not dehumanizing people you happen to disagree with.

The fact things have got this far, even if Kyle gets off, does not bode well for the future. So much evidence against people that should have been brought to justice and even when they are, they get off like bike-lock professor and rugby-kick half-nigger.

There are 5.56 hollow points, but from what I understand they're usually made for accuracy and long range terminal ballistics, not necessarily expansion. Look at "Open Tip Match"

They do make .223 soft points, which are kinda-sorta like hollow points and are meant to expand. I have those loaded in defensive AR.

There also relatively boutique polymer-tipped bullets, too.

A guy I knew who worked in Forestry had a load of hollow point .223's in the back of his range rover. Think he was just showing off really. He had them legally, for shooting varmints and the like. Probably wouldn't want one shot close to the temple even in a pistol that could fire that round. I dunno, not a gun sperg. I've fired more weapons than most britbongs (legally) but I won't PL more than that. I think the idea is the same with the Forestry worker as it is with LEO here - they have to use HP by law I think, because FMJ goes through people and causes more casualties, besides, if you have to shoot someone in the City of London, you probably have a good reason and don't want to fuck about. Dum dum bullets tumble inside the body, fragment, and make one unholy mess of your innards like a washing machine on spin cycle 9. That's the idea. Not only do they not go through the body as easily as FMJ, they absolutely fuck up the people they hit.
