People in this thread are worse than good-weather-fans, going from the joys of imminent victory to the devastation of imminent defeat. Can't believe I am the one saying this but jfc calm down and watch the show.
Most posters in these kinds of thread swing from ridiculously smug over-confidence to extreme woe-is-me doomerism the moment the slightest thing happens.

Happened during the Election thread, the Chauvin thread, the Gamestop thread, and now this thread.

I agree that people should stop whining, and just enjoy the show. It's much more fun.

"I didn't say that the crowd wasn't hostile I said the crowd wasn't hostile towards me"
"durp let me rephrase my question to take that into account"

For the record, I am in neither camp. Just very irritated by the defense dropping the ball hard and allowing Binger to wear down Kyle for no gain at all.

I like how the Prosecution is making it sound like Kyle is a terrible person for.... putting out fires and offering first aid. Yeah, maybe the kid was immature in thinking what he was going to do and then he got lost in a crowd of people who were basically committing arson and being rowdy.

As funny as it was to see the judge get mad at the prosecuter, it was a terrible idea to ever put Kyle on the stand. Especially since the defense is just not objecting to anything.

He did, but Bringer said that's irrelevant. This is now about his mindset before and after the shooting.
He could reiterate it, unless the judge tells him to stop.

And I mean it's fairly self evident: "I was afraid of being attacked by an unreasonable person that might try to kill me. I was attacked by an unreasonable person trying to kill me. My fears of being attacked by an unreasonable person to try and kill me were justified."

Fuck this is boring. I'm out boys.
Wait what's happening? Is Kyle losing?
Binger is looking for any possible opening to admit new evidence never seen before because of a "lie," previously excluded evidence, and just generally trying to wear him down into becoming hostile.
If the asshole has enough questions, he could keep Kyle up there for a fucking week.

The defense can see how the jury is reacting
But its a massive gamble.
Kyle fucking up and disgusting the jury could flip some of them.

Binger's line of questioning that there was no one around AT THE MOMENT was a reason for them to leave the area makes no sense

my autism is drawing the comparison "hey there's no more terrorists in Afghanistan right now.. lets leave they'll be fine!!"
This was addressed by grambo, or some other witness yesterday too. They said it calmed down at one point the previous night but fires started again at like 2am or something.

At least 1 person on the jury should remember these details and wonder why Binger is wasting their time rehashing this.

Depends what exactly you mean. The mistrial talk was without the jury. The judge screaming was without them too.
I meant the screaming yeah, but I guess this is still so mundane that even bringing up Kyle lying about being EMT isn't gonna affect much
