She definitely looks like she has lost some weight. It’s pretty clear when you see all those older clips she added in to the latest video. But there absolutely no way she wasn’t over 600 at “her heaviest”

CuntyLynn, ArrogantLynn, SmugLynn... as maddening as any of us found each or all of these manifestations, at least there was some life & animation to them. The person in today's vlog is so tightly controlled, it resembles no iteration of Amber I've previously seen. It comes across as highly scripted, someone else's idea of how Amber should be presenting herself to her audience.
There's still a "trial & error" feel to it; an attempt to throw everything at the wall & see what sticks. Amber has nothing any half assed adult would be willing to call a life - no adult interests, no intellectual curiosity, no skills or genuine passions so we're being "treated" to the monotonously mundane minutia of an existence. We see her make coffee, talk about some mugs she's purchased & was given & a yawner of a grocery 'haul'. We get a Torrid haul with some short, full body hurpling shots which aren't QUITE long enough to elicit gasps.
There's some vague posting about eating better & weight loss that just manages to miss being death fat, born again, nutrition preachy. I wonder how many takes that required to achieve a neutral tone? The closest I saw to any of the old version of ALR was the blaming Becky for her weight gain by not blaming Becky for her weight gain... if that makes sense. She does dishes, talks about Twinkie's weight loss & fills a few more minutes with fluff.
I was left with the impression that Wipey looked at past videos, analyzed comments to death & is tryong to find a formula that will maximize return without involving too blatant a change in effort or crossing some mythical line.
But somebody is trying too hard to "elevate" Amber & that's just not going to fly. Her engagement in the form of views, like/dislike ratio & notably comments, is steadily dropping. What's always scored high engagement is mukbangs, full body shots, "I know what's best for me" & insufferable attitudes.
This version of Amber is too dull to even be worth the effort involved in yawning. The only puzzle to me is why she's allowing her persona to be dictated in this manner? How is the puppet master managing to keep Amber both on a tight leash AND muzzled?

Amberlynn doesn't even look that different than the past 2 years. Like putting lipstick on a pig, so to say. 500 lbs is still deathfat levels. We've lost the poop bun to straight hair and she's wearing make-up. No shit she's gonna look better on camera. What's next, a face slimming filter that gets pre-screened and verified through scaredy cat Wipey's editing?

Because she's such a mountain, she's losing some weight by eating less shit, but it's still shit. In about twenty more pounds, she's going to plateau. When that happens, she's going to actually have to diet and restrict to keep losing. And that friends, is when she fats the fuck back up like always, and this becomes fun again.

As Strawberry said Amber constantly struggles with plateaus figuratively and physically. She cannot lower her food intake and sees numbers go down because everyone nopes out in weight loss sagas. Then repeats infinitely, if you think Jade the criminal is going to break the cycle, think again.
I know why her content is bugging me so much though, it is literally a carbon copy of foodie beauty's old vlogs. The coffee machine bit and the showing goods are taken out of Chantal's playbook. Chantal's vlogs too always feel so forced and sterile and this is whatAmber Jade is trying to accomplish.
Jade is no doubt editing and directing these now because at a few points there was audio going over a scene change. In all 6 years watching Amber she has never done. That error is a classic mistake in imovie though. She is churning videos out though which tells me she is trying to get Christmas money stat. You can tell she is storing up the wipey shit as her big reveal in case views fall below 1 million. At this point, no one gives a shit because wipey tried to change Amber so she is going to get a lot of backlash.

This is exactly what all of our fat ladies utterly fail to understand when they start losing a little bit weight: the first hundred pounds is the easy part. Those are the pounds that their bodies are fucking begging to lose, if only they would give them a chance. Amberlynn lost the first hundred pounds out of 400 total? Not a bad start, but she still has no fucking idea what she's up against, or what it will take to get there.
I agree: she'll hit her first slowdown, or even just her first week when she doesn't lose as much as she thinks she should have, and the wheels will start to come off this express train to SkinnyLynn Town.
PS: There's no way this trend survives the holidays. She has, like, literally a 0% chance type situation.

You watch amber for like 6 years and you get an understanding how she operates when it comes to her vlogs. These vlogs are controlled. Good minimal editing. Tight in frame shots. Amber does her makeup and hair. The content is “amberlynn” content but in the most none controversial ways possible. Shows some food. Avoids all drama. Mentions weight loss. Does a weigh in. It’s like somebody took classic amberlynn and clean it up to be as nice, tight, and pretty as it can be. Amberlynn is expected to smile. It’s like she’s reading off a fucking prompt after going through wardrobe.

I don’t know what wifeys at home job is but i wouldn’t be surprised if it something to do with marketing. But goddam. Since wifey has came into the picture. Amberlynn’s kiwifarms sub forum has been destroyed. Her videos at getting positive comments with super positive engagement. And the videos are getting positive engagement. And the reaction channels barely talk about her anymore.

It makes sense that a new strategy is getting new results. This blandening of her channel is, and surely will continue, to rope in a whole new audience of dumb NPC Ambabies. And, yes, this also makes her completely uninteresting to us haydurs. And this could go on for a while or forever, for all we know. BUT the one thing we know about Amber is that at her core, she is lazy and narcissistic and does not like to be told what to do. And history has always shown us that this lazy narcissistic attitude usually wins out in the end. Can Wipey keep Amby in check and succeed in turning her channel around? Maybe. But my money is on the long game and at some point Amber will likely fuck up, give up, or maybe just have a massive coronary before she ever loses that first 200 pounds. And even if she does lose it, her ego will get the best of her and her true smug colors will shine through and turn all of her new Ambabies into freshly minted haydurs.

At the rate she is losing it will take quite a while for her to hit a plateau. She usually hits plateaus because she can not be assed to follow with jenny craig or anything for more than 4 days max. Now she is guided by a strong hand and giving up so easily isn't in the picture anymore. Wifey has to observe her like a live-in prison guard so maybe she'll lose a bit before breaking up for good to get some orange chicken again.
