The pretentiousness of this entire thing is absolutely ridiculous. I'm almost tempted to do something similar with some of Dobson's works. Granted, yes, there's problems with the Superman art piece but most of the things wrong are things Dobson has similar failures in his own works.
 
Usually I'd say "you don't need to be a chef to tell that the food tastes bad" in regards to art criticism but then again people in glass houses shouldn't throw stones

Honest to god half those things he pointed out are things he himself does. Those feet? Messed up hands? Absolutely!

And lol at his inability to decipher light sources. Like yeah the lighting's bad, but his arrows "pointing it out" aren't even correctly highlighting the light direction! Is he retarded? Sources say: yes

It's also pretty shitty to make fun of Miller's recent appearance which may very well be that he's actually fucking sick from something.
 
Frank Miller still finds work, because in the past he created something people liked.

Dobson in the other hand is a talentless hack, who never even tried to create something exceptional. He can't take any form of critique, but criticises other peoples work for exactly the same mistakes he makes all the time.
 
Where does he get off insulting Frank Miller? And for the same shit he does on a regular basis in his crap comics, and even blocks people for noticing. When you are an industry legend for anything other than your bad attitude and shitty paint bucket coloring--then maybe you can mention Frank Miller. When you get a couple of movie deals under your belt staring Ron Perlman or Gerard Butler then maybe you can talk, Dobson.
 
Gotta love that his "comic" contains a panel pulled from an older comic and a the same picture of a comic panel he didn't draw, just zoomed in sometimes and with arrows and text added everywhere.

Fuck, if you want to be technical, Frank Miller drew more of this comic than Dobson did.

I think I've said it before, this "pwease don't punch down on lesser artists" is nothing more than an excuse to criticize everyone else... but then claim it's horrible when it's done to him.

I'd fully support the idea of doing a 'crit comic' of Dobson's work. Actually, it'd be a bit hard to pick just one pic wouldn't it?

Anyone got a good Dobson comic to recommend for this? I'm thinking about mashing up a few.
