No, that is actually canon in the show.
Short explanation: In the show gems have the ability to fuse a la Dragon Ball to become stronger warriors/beasts to defeat an enemy. The show actually even makes a big deal of the idea of fusion because it is something that is in some way so intime, it is treated as a metaphor for sex.
...And Steven, a 10 year old who is half gem, tries to learn how to fuse down the line and manages to eventualy fuse with a young girl (his friend Connie, not really that much older than him) and they become Stevonie for an episode that tumblr then called the greatest thing ever, because it is pro-transgender or some crap when in reality it is creepy and dull as fuck. Dobson is right now sexualizing a ten year old.

Makes sense, Dobson was probably watching it with a raging-semi as he imagined fusing with Wu as Andrianna or one of the other women on Twitter he constantly tweets at.

There isnt really one.
Dobbie is triggered by sexy halloween he wants innocent halloween, one of the outfits he complained about was sexy corn (which i think was actually for thanks giving)..
Its more fun to pretend hes more afraid of corn than sexy girly bits.
Thats what started it off.
He is legitimately afraid of being out after dark, carnival masks and dislikes public shows of affection (to be point of triggering) and girls dancing.

They are in the ED article about him under the 'Evidence of His Ego' gallery. Apparently these are sections of one of his journals while he was still using CattyN as his alias.
Also does anyone know if the inflation fetish caused his break up with his girlfriend? I've been looking for info about it but haven't found much of anything.

She knew about it an laughed at him about it, they remained with him after the xmas incident so the reasons for break up are unknown. She was still with him after he managed to get fired from the airport.
Gonna say Dobbie legit watches ot. He spergs about it alot and was crying over one of the episodes so i guess he pays attention to the show.
AFAIK, he remained tip-lipped about that. The mention of girlfriend sorta dissapeared after the ChristHanukkahMast incident I think. He's usually the type that wrote everything in DA journals. Seems like his former girlfriend made an arrangement for him not to publish it.

Edit: And yes, Dobson still watches the show. After all, he sperged about Peridot recently. It is just that ever since he left dA, he stopped sperging in journals on a regular basis. Which is almost sad, cause I really want to hear his insane ramblings about Gravity Falls, SU, Doctor Who and so on, just to see how he can manage to make himself even a bigger imbecile as nerd than he already is.
