A Zine is a mini magazine, published by amature artists and writers about things they like. They've been printing ever since photocopy machines have been working, but with the advent of the internet and colored printing, they can be distributed digitally and even professionally printed in small batches. A famous genre of zines was the punk zines, made for and by Punk fans with flair.
The University of Iowa has a bunch of digitized SciFi zines for those who enjoy classic homegrown writing and art.
Modern Zines range from fan productions...
...to art projects...
...to political retardation.
This is a thread for discussing or sharing zines, whether they're a cute digital zine you enjoy, a batshit insane coomer product, or your own project you made for fun.
Which brings me to the second part of the title to this thread. Introducing one of, if not the most fun project made by a trans identified being: the electric zine maker.
If you liked kid's art programs in the 90s-2000s with fun graphics and a variety of tools to be weird with, this is for you. It allows you to import pictures if you can't draw, so play around and see what you can make. If you never want to have a program that was touched by a troon on your computer, there is still gimp, fire alpaca, and most importantly, the online version of the original kidpix for fun doodles on the net. I am encouraging shitposting or having fun doodling in general.
You can also draw/write/copy and paste images traditionally, don't feel limited.
