YouTubers you hate that everyone else likes

Yeah salt factory is pretty bad , but atleast he from couple videos I have seen sticks to sperging about video games.
Doesn't reflect my experience. He got himself into my blacklist after inserting pretty blatant anti-freedom moral grandstanding nearly 2 hours into a video, after repeatedly skirting the line earlier on.

Simone Giertz. Like... having a brain tumor is shit, not many people deserve that, she definitely didn't and I feel for her.
But FFS, she is literally the millennial science girly femslop version of those home shopping products nobody asked for, to solve a problem that did not even exist. I absolutely love me some cozy shit nobody asked for, but this is not serious, actual inventing. Her life (sans fucking cancer) sounds really chill and comfy and relaxing, which... good for her, really.
I also get the vibe of those kindergarten teacher voice lib moralizing vibes of her. The kind that ASMR halp whispers very slowly at you about how you need to heal your inner whatever because you said nigger.

Are her custom-built useless millennial knick-knacks better than just buying random shit? Sure. It's probably more fulfilling to make them. But who the fuck in this world ever clamored for a light-up electric calendar to track a habit? Just use an app. Use a notebook.
It's the "I love science" coded version of every impractical diy channel.

FYI there's plenty of mobility-impaired or sensory-impaired people for whom such seemingly useless products actually make a big difference
Not all of these products, but enough of them that seem just completely unnecessary from the point of view of someone who's got full mobility

I'm not against convenience items for people with no disabilities either. But girl, what disability makes me need a kaleidoscope lamp, a fruit bowl that flattens out to get bigger, a chair "for your half dirty" clothes, etc.?
None of these are actual things you need. If I missed an arm, I still wouldn't benefit from ANY of them, because they turn normal things (you have maybe... a single bigger bowl with fewer fruits sometimes?? we all have a normal chair for half dirty clothes????) into overengineered quirky products that are premium price ThinkGeek But Bigger.

Yahtzee Croshaw , Marxist piece of shit. Also oddly enough he has videos with multiple slurs in them that are still up so either he has connections to someone in high places or something is up because youtube will gang rape you for the content hes made and none of it has been taken down
Can someone fill me in if I am wrong but post Hogwarts Legacy he went full crazy. You can kind of gather it in some of his Zero Punctuation reviews but it was in the background but from what I've seen after the Hogwarts game he went full into one side.

Sweet Anita must be the most obnoxious tit streamer
Reading back through the thread; is this the “Tourette’s girl who used to jack off on stream” or the “Kojima dick-rider girl”? Please understand, big booby brunettes who say bro tend to blur together at some point.

Really anytime after moving to the Bay Area, getting married, having a kid, probably pre-leaving the Escapist. No one cared about his political opinions when he was sniping at Brits and Aussies because his entire fan base is American and frankly no one gives a shit about Tony Abbott.

Mr.Beat. I just don't like the way he talks. Also JJ McCullough, but that's more for his sperging on xitter than his Youtube videos, but they occasionally over lap.
He is regularly mentioned in the Youtube Historians thread.

Basically a crazy twitter person that constantly calls people fascists and says there should be a mass imprisonment of Trump enablers.

CallMeKevin, I don't hate Mr. O'Riley but as of lately he seems to be very unenergetic compared to his older content. I am well aware of him going on ADHD Meds. But it feels like he's dead inside. The start of this change was during his Bitlife video on where he made ChstGPT control his character.

It's really unnerving to see someone so full of energy be taken down by drugs that cure said energy. I know it's supposed to help but it feels as of lately he's becoming more and more lifeless.

Constantly doing that thing where he spreads his arms like he’s trying to intimidate a bear at a campsite, nodding with this exaggerated, funereal seriousness, and then you get the hot-mic moment where he’s cackling to himself like Lootin Plunder.

I know how you feel. It's like an old friend who used to be the life of the party now turning into bed at 8 PM with a glass of warm milk.

I tried to get into Salt a few times but he gets a bunch of shit wrong in the vids he dose that it takes me out of it.

From what I know of the guy he ended up doing videos because of a horrible car wreck. Now he's taking meds and age is likely starting to make him ache. Seeing the zest drain from someone is very depressing. I hope he himself feels better but he sounds like he's being victimized by a vampire.

Every time I see Mickey D having posted something its just sad to see the man slowly sliding towards the same bullshit as always. I guess depression and misery stalks the Irish.

Do you remember what video this was? I remember really fucking hating his Gen 1-7 Pokemon video. He got a lot of shit wrong and was just kind of pretentious about his takes on what makes a good Pokemon game.

Do you remember what video this was?
Yes. The Outer Worlds
At the risk of sounding autistic: Not even 3 minutes in we get "So, the main thing is that the corporations have now taken and monetized *every* resource that they can get their hands on in space. Which, to be fair, is probably exactly what would happen if they were left unchecked. Looking at you and your space ride, Bezos. Anyways, the corporations began promising people that they too could be part of a new life out in the reaches of space if they signed on to their program while agreeing to spend 10 years in cryogenic sleep during transportation. I'm sure it will be explained where the government is in all of this, but for now, it seems like the corporations have all but taken control of everything they could possibly take control of."
Which is ambiguous because corporations != companies, and it is perfectly coherent to want to abolish corporations as a legal construct while having no problems whatsoever with private enterprise.
Not even 20 minutes in: "The side quests themselves range from decently-put-together fetch quests to pretty interesting stuff which fills you in on a lot of the world's finer details. Like I said, most people are kind of crazy in their own way, at least from the perspective of a normal human who got transported to this time and location. The heavy hand of the law and its seemingly endless list of rules and tedium affects pretty much every single facet of civilization here. People are overworked. The food that they can afford is disgustingly streamlined slop. The weapons and tools that Spacer's Choice manufactures are liable to malfunction and break down. The whole colony suffers if a single person commits a crime, including committing suicide. If someone does die, the whole town has to pay for what they would have been worth to Spacer's Choice. The common flu is referred to as 'the plague' and is a constant worry for everyone who thinks that it's impossible to survive without advanced care. The whole town is a mix of factories and machinery, junk piles and boxes, and cluttered homes and businesses. It's just an oppressive dystopia of corporate culture cranked to parody levels, so much so that the illogical on the surface decisions which these corporations make start to become something that I could see happening to a lesser degree with how a lot of the current world corporate climate is functioning in today's day and age."
Still straddling the line, "The heavy hand of the law and its seemingly endless list of rules and tedium affects pretty much every single facet of civilization here." reads more like an anti-state sentiment than a pro-state one.
Then, almost 2 hours in: "The solution was presented to them on a silver platter in the first couple hours in the game, but the message is that the corporations are so blinded by greed that they couldn't figure out the easiest way to save their colony. I just know that there's going to be a 'you don't get it, man, it's actually a brilliant satire of the politics revolving around corporate culture!' kind of comment, and I'm all for taking big companies down a peg. We just watched Microsoft, Amazon, Disney, and so on just start absorbing huge franchises with no repercussions. This kind of commentary is a good thing. But again, for as much as this game is supposed to take these goofy things that you hear about to their absolute extremes, I feel like this message would have been so much more impactful had they just brought a little bit more reality into the game rather than constantly having corporations trip over themselves as if they suddenly forgot to be successful after getting to this stage. It's aggravating because the pieces are all here for a thought-provoking, interesting, and bold message about corporate elitism."
This here, "I'm all for taking big companies down a peg."
That is unacceptable. At this point it's no longer beyond reasonable doubt that the dude is hostile towards market outcomes. Also "We just watched Microsoft, Amazon, Disney, and so on just start absorbing huge franchises with no repercussions."
Objective evidence of being against freedom because the dude was targeting not a specific subsidy or monopoly grant or regulatory privilege or other state distortion, but bigness and successful expansion itself, with "repercussions" being desirable.

I'm so happy someone else mentioned this. It's kinda like Jerma: The dude used to be really funny and energetic and now he's just fucking dead inside and seems like he wants to stop. Jerma at least has the excuse of being 40 and dealing with the loss of his dad and dog. Kevin's just gone.

Kevin is closely approaching his 30s, He did a recent longtent on Minecraft like a couple videos ago, it sounded okay but he sounded kinda high.

People don't really understand what I meant.

Here's his first episode of his old Tomodachi Life Series:

This is the current video of his Living The Dream Series:

There's a complete and utter change in these.
