how long before youtube exodus to video sites like vid.me?

It seems like every time there's an outcry about "YOUTUBE IS KILL" (usually by people who base most if not all of their income on being a Youtuber), a lot of people threaten to move to other video hosting sites, but never actually migrate. They just kind of spend the next several weeks/months after the drama begins e-begging for Patreon bux. (At least, that's what I've seen happen several times in the past.)
The standard Youtube users might move on to someplace else eventually, but probably not until Youtube totally dies/becomes practically unusable and something else becomes more popular.

And knowing Google, they may make it worse, but it'll never truly die unless they go bankrupt. And that doesn't seem to be happening any time soon.

If a kid isn't smart enough to turn off the OPTIONAL restricted mode feature, they aren't smart enough to think about their sexuality.
For fuck's sake, just let kids discover their identities during fucking puberty, when their body is shooting off hormones and they're developing into adults. Let 8-year olds be 8-year-olds and stop trying to indoctrinate them with the fucking internet's interpretation of being LGBTQASFGMH. Let them figure that shit out when they're old enough to.

I know it might not be obvious to these high school/college dropouts/film school majors, but most parents -- have JOBS. -- Amazing, right?
Ya know, working a 9-to-5, slaving away at a physical, real world job, trying to make ends meet for their kids, and not having nearly enough time to spend with them, much less monitor them.
Rather than making obnoxious let's plays, spending time locked in a room rambling and giving your opinion about digital nonsense nobody cares about, or worst of all shoving the kid's face in a camera and making them do stupid shit.
