I've already said my piece on Maxtaro in my one-off cow thread post. What I have failed to mention was his actual YouTube page, which he isn't active over there but it reeks of cringe, and it doesn't help that he's a complete Pooh's Adventures A-Logger among other things. Here's this 2-hour dreck of a video that I couldn't even stomach to watch even two minutes in.
But even though he hasn't been on YouTube for that much, he's still active on deviantART, Twitter and Letterboxd, among other social media sites all things considered. It's even horrifying to find out his troon self by the late-2010s. He should've been more of a time capsule of the mid-to-late-2000s, but =has not learnt any of it since, being more of a pathetic asshole towards anyone and has trooned himself out from hell to back.

This just feels like one of those weird videos autistic people make where they take a movie and replace the characters in the movies with cartoon characters by just splicing clips of the cartoon characters over the movie. But actually animated. It's just pure autism, "Look! A character is a different character! Funny!"
Such as that bullshit animation meme. They're not memes, they're just shitty drawings autists have made where they just dance to copyrighted music, and yet they still get views (which is not a surprise).

There seems to be the beginnings of a little spat going on between AE and Inept in the comments of this video.
- AE is a major community caster for Company of Heroes 3 PvP and is sponsored by Relic Entertainment, the game's devs.
- Inept is a montage maker for previous CoH titles and has opened his thoughts on CoH3 with a withering series of meme montages masquerading as criticism of the game's many bugs, glitches, and backward steps.
- Company of Heroes 3 itself shows clear signs of game reviewer rigging while its Steam rating and chart continue to tank due to some hilariously out-of-touch content updates that reinforce the image that it's a cheap mobile-game cash-grab by devs that no longer care about the franchise's reputation.

So apparently CGP Grey threatened to copystrike a channel down because this guy reacted to his video on flags and Grey didn't like that because "he just sat there eating lunch and barely adding commentary" so he sent not one but two strikes to his channel. Getting a third and you're channel's deleted.
Also while this video took place 2 weeks before this drama, Grey has completely NEUTRERED his comment section because he quotes "doesn't like seeing sexbots and scambots in his comment section" but when you watch the video, you'll soon realize he is GRIFTING his audience to join his patreon in order to get the PRIVILEGE of commenting on his videos. Something that HE HIMSELF admits is a manual task and will probably take a long while to verify each and every user who signed up to his Patreon. I'd ask "why the fuck would he do this if this shit would probably put off more time into making videos?" But do you even need me to say he's begging his audience for more soybux? Also he's seething a bit about YouTube shorts near the end too for some reason.

Been lurking for years (and have two previous accounts I cannot remember the password for), and I just saw this all over YouTube as well.
TL;DW for her 'apology video': iiluminaughtii aka 'Blaire Zon' accused another YouTuber - that was a lawyer, no less - of plagiarism/copyright of taking her 'editing' style, among other things. Said editing styles were video transition effects that almost any person that's ever done a PowerPoint presentation has probably used. The rest of her video is kind of stupid and just comes across as deflection rather than taking accountability. I kinda zoned out when she pulled the Onision trick of "Well let's take a look at the dictionary definition of plagiarism before discussing x, y, z...", and that happened at 5 minutes in. Though, I will say that I don't think she's 'winning' in terms of publishing this video, as it has 12,000 comments in under 48 hours. There's a 50/50 split on people buying the apology or not. Just typical YouTuber apology stuff.
In general, the whole situation is kind of stupid and just friend group interpersonal drama, but she's always been like 2 steps away from being a potential lolcow in my opinion.

TBH, I've started to wonder if this LegalEagle drama will be the thing to push Blair over the edge and onto the KF radar. It can only take one drama before someone goes down the rabbit hole and finds out so much bullshit.

The LegalEagle drama is pretty stupid on her part, but it's looking pretty bleak for Blaire right now. I revisited her video, and people are very upset due to her deflecting so much blame. I tried rewatching it to understand the situation better, but her retelling of information seems shoddy at best.
Also, everyone's criticizing her for """doxxing""" her old friend and showing his suicide messages during the video. That entire portion was a pretty unnecessary part of her apology video, and I have no idea why she included it. I guess to make him seem less believable because he's mentally ill? Who knows. She also apparently repossessed a car from this same friend (?) for some reason.
In general, everyone in the comments is complaining about Blaire's attitude, and I guess this behavior is a pattern according to them. I dunno how true that is, but she did always rub me the wrong way. She always seems to act 'holier than thou' just because she makes videos about unethical businesses. I've been looking into her past because of all of this, and I feel like I'll stumble upon something eventually.

Grey's ego has reached it's peak, once you start doing stupid shit like this it's all downhill from there. His content was already getting excessively smug while not delivering the same quality of information but this is lolcow shit.
