Has anyone noticed more songs getting official uploads and reuploads getting DMCAed recently? I noticed it a few months ago when I went to listen to "Hulkster in Heaven" and one of those topic channels had uploaded it like a month ago. Then I checked for the reupload I saw with a guy holding the album on CD, and it was DMCAed by the record label. Yesterday I saw one of those topic channels uploaded the "Boss Nigger" theme song, but I haven't checked if they DMCAd the reuploads yet, but it wouldn't surprise me if they did.

I tried watching a bit just to get a better idea of what he's prattling on about, but his accent makes me wanna smash his head through a concrete wall.

Half Life VR but the AI is Self-Aware (HLVRAI for short) was a series of live-streams later edited into YouTube videos that aired in March 2020, right when the COVID lockdowns were first getting serious. It was very popular at the time, and the Act 1:Part 1 video on YouTube has nearly 9 million views.


It was a bunch of guys making up a story as Wayne plays through the first HL game in VR. It was funny because they were just fucking around without much of a script, doing funny voices, and things seemed to fall in place. Every character has good bits and added more to the "story." As it went along they added more custom programming and scraped together a pretty good ending. I will still sometimes put the original series on as background noise while I work on things.

The new series has some of the same VAs return, but they sound older and more professional, and aren't off the cuff funny anymore. Probably because the time to release this series was 5 years ago. I tried watching it drunk and I had to turn it off halfway through. Just my little autistic disappointment for the week.
 
I ran into a weird convergence on Youtube earlier. Thunderf00t's Musk a-logging series (I dgaf about Thunderf00t in general, but find his futurism fraud debunked content entertaining) featured a Youtube channel called Jixuan & Sebastian, two true believers from Europe who appeared to be genuinely retarded and eventually gave up on the futurism grift. Recently I was recommended by the algorithm some ancient Rome channel named Maiorianus with a very familiar looking guy, who seems to be Sebastian. This is confirmed by his Patreon for the channel using a profile pic of him and Jixuan together, so I guess they're a couple. I was pleased to see him improving himself and working on something else, but holy shit as he gone all in on AI recently. He's begun making unwatchable AI "movies" whose shitness has to be seen to be believed.

As a weird side-note, I searched KF for his channel's name, and there seems to be a user who has recommended him as "the foremost expert and fan of Late Antiquity I've seen outside academics [...]", etc. I'm not suggesting anything untoward as the user also recommends a lot of other content, just food for thought.

I used to watch that Maiorianus channel up until about a year or so ago. It was okay...nothing special. Surprised to see it went full AI slop though.
 
Unless is some literal tranny channel and or weird fetish poster in my recommendation page, I don't often get to see such stranger users. However the instant you begin to view or search for something in a foreign language you will find them. Case in point these two slavic neo-nazis.

StoicNatsoc which I recall first finding when listing to and or watching old Yugoslavian media like movies. I still find them posting rather popular comments on new videos and channels which makes me suspect them to be on the younger side. Especially since they seem sharty adjacent. ​

BlatteSvartskallsson who I can only guess is of Ukranian descent and citizen of Sweden which compared to the Serbian guy is far less strange to me. Still has a very funny username considering Blatte is most similar to the German word Kanake and is also used as a slur for slavic immigrants to Sweden. He does include black skull son at the end to make it clear he is one of the good ones with hatred for the dark skins only. ​

Both these people make strange uploads of random stuff. Some of which I even find to be half decent. I just think the general concept of both to be very amusing. Serbian communists already share very problmatic views from a western view point, and the society at large is spared from the general globohomo self hatred taking place in Europe. They also do not think fondly of the Germans considering they permitted the Croats and Bosnians to start death camps to cleanse each respective group of ethnic Serbs. The only thing more absurd than a Serbian fascist to me would be the Polish groups. The Ukranian mabye Russian youtube channel is just a sad case of dual nationals, clearly not hating either the motherland or host country but just not mixing well in a society far less tolerant of nationalism. Oh also considering the most similar people to them in mentality in said country would hate them for being even partly slavic. The reason I didn't suspect the username to be self-deprecating was that they like Ultima Thule and Icelandic stuff which both are things the average Sven wouldn't give a rat's ass about.
