I feel like getting cancelled for jerking it to deepfakes is a bit like getting a criminal record for a crime committed in GTA. All this drama over pixels on a screen and the guy has nothing to show for it other than a crusty sock.

If it were run of the mill celebrity deepfakes, maybe.

Getting off to non-consensually made pornographic videos of the person putting a roof over your head is fucked up and weird no matter how you slice it. Not illegal, no, but that doesn't mean it's not morally wrong. Especially because he is married.

Or the dude who was doing the deep fakes got big time threatened by a lawyer to take that shit down or be sued into oblivion.

Maybe, but I don't believe that some married litty fortnite top 1% twitch streamer was looking at twitch deepfakes coincidentally. Could have been premeditated to create a fake urgency around this deepfake shit that nobody cares about except Twitch streamers.

Nah man these people are degenerates pretending they are on the right side of history. They are in short... all fake.

I'm not saying he's not a creep. I'm saying that he exposed himself as a creep over the most pathetic shit ever.

He ruined his reputation, possibly fucked up his career, he'll definitely lose a ton of money and he got to sit next to his disappointed looking girlfriend, crying his eyes out on a stream, in a scene that had the same energy as the one from American Pie where the one guy sits at the kitchen table while his parents talk to him about fucking baked goods.

And for what? All he got out of it was a sad 2 am jerk-off session while looking at generic porn that a computer pasted a different face onto.

Of course all of this is assuming that he even looked at fakes of people he talks to. For all anyone knows, he could have been jerking it to a video of a Pokimane blowjob or something, in which case it'd be even more pathetic.

BAVFAKES have closed up shop and vowed to not do deepfakes again, also put up an apology. Apparently they're going to use their expert deepfake knowledge to protect you, the streamer, in the future.
So imagine for a sec that you are a humble degenerate trying to get that coomer money and one day your business just gets evaporated in the nuclear fallout of some twitch streamer drama. Luck must not be on your side.
Highly, highly motivated apology, especially after, "I promise you, with every part of my soul I'm going to sue you" from QTCinderella. She pre-approved this post for sure. But whatever, all's well that ends well.

SethTheProgrammer is a anime YouTuber that has got into some extreme drama recently. His friend of 7+ years has released a three hour video documenting his toxic treatment of his paying fans, scamming his community out of a Naruto vs. Ichigo animation video, sexual advances on his friends and fans, insulting other friends behind their back, posting suicide art of a suicidal friend, pedophile allegations, and overall being a jackass. YouTube video below. There could be more for a thread but I wouldn't be able to go over the 7+ years of his activity

I smell a new thread.

Posting this here as well since I saw a discussion about it. Ludwig (Atrioc's best friend and business partner and QTCinderella's boyfriend did a video about this:

Is that the guy that spergs out any time someone thinks any Dragon Ball character can be beaten by literally any other anime character? Or is that someone else?

Not sure where to post this, but top streamer Atrioc was just caught looking at deepfakes of streamers he personally knows.

I honestly feel this could have worked to help him avoid the fallout rather than having to own up to it. Would be scummy and dishonest but I really think it would work, it's not unheard of for content creators to go on a deep dive, including paying for risque content, when researching topics for videos. It would certainly be questionable but it would probably win back most of the crowd shitting on him.

Yeah, I discussed this very same hypothetical strategy with a friend of mine. His best move would have been to say it was research for his AI video. But he didn't realize it had deepfakes of his friends and immediately decided not to address it in his video. He didn't reveal it to anyone because he was too embarrassed and he would just have to say "sorry" for that. Totally believable with lots of reasonable doubt and he could work behind the scenes to shore up the damage with his streamer friends. He would have still lost a small part of his audience and this black stain would stick with him, but it would have been minor damage and it would simply be a meme on his channel.

By going down the retarded "I clicked a porn ad" path, which was easily disproven and too retarded to be believable for anyone below the age of 50 to begin with, he has all but confirmed what he was actually doing. Which only makes it far more difficult to come back from it.

There are 2 additional videos that were made as exposals as well as a Google Doc that had already existed for some time:

As someone who has followed Seth since 2015/2016 and was formerly in one of his Discords, him being an asshole to everyone makes sense. He never did anything wrong to me personally, but he's one of those people who is just naturally a dick at times. As far as the allegations of scamming and grooming I cannot confirm or deny any of that, I do know his age isn't known and is more of an estimate so he could be younger than people believe, again not sure on that so idk.
There are apparently more videos to come, additionally here are the links to some Streams from close associates/former friends of Seth on the situation, including a 5 hour stream from Clyde yesterday (I have not watched this shit so I don't have any timestamps atm for any super pertinent info, comb through it at your own risk of mental brain rot):

I do have all of these downloaded in case they get pulled down for any reason, Im a lazy nigger atm tho so links is what im going with.

The dumbest thing that he did imo was get on stream right after it was discovered. A few minutes of off the cuff mouth spaghetti while your wife sits awkwardly next to you is the most retarded way I can think of to respond to a controversy. That QT girl also stream cried about it, which was equally as retarded imo but since she is one of the "victims" it comes off a lot better to the public at least.

Can't he just spin it into it being a different kind of shipping? Shipping is totally not creepy even if it is happening in chat during streams.

Moist Critical reacted to the video last night and Keemstar is currently hosting a debate between Noodles and Seth as well. There's definitely enough to make a thread, I'll probably do it by Friday

How do you pay $30K a year to have deepfake porn 'removed' from the internet? I kind of figured once that stuff is out there, it's unfortunately out there.
the reaction people have had to this deepfake stuff really interests me because they all seem to think its something that can be stopped. when it really cant ever be stopped. you could get rid of the internet entirely and magazines still exist and degenerates would simply carefully cut out the faces of their favorite streams or celebrities and paste them onto the bodies of people in porn magazines.

youll never stop that type of behavior no matter how much money you dump into doing so. honestly your best bet would be to ignore it. because she has had such a strong reaction to this means people are gonna make tons of deepfake stuff of her just out of spite.

she really is better off just never talking about it and accepting the fact that being a decently well known person on the internet means you are gonna get porn made of you rather you like it or not. you simply cannot have the positives without the negatives and the more you fight that the worse your life and mental state become.
I don't think anyone's talked about him on this forum before, but Jonathan Paula (jpizzle1122, later Jogwheel). He was one of the guys who created Is It a Good Idea To Microwave This, a YouTube show that ran from 2007-2011. Episodes regularly topped 100k views which was nothing to scoff at by the standards of pre-2010 YouTube. It was made by three guys: aforementioned Jonathan, Jory Caron, and later on Riley McIlwein. The show stayed pretty popular until they ended it of their own volition in 2011. They ended on episode 300 and just didn't want the show to get boring, which is fair enough. The latter two guys more or less fucked off and haven't maintained a consistent online presence since 2011.

Jon, however, maintained his channel afterwards, uploading other stuff like movie reviews, food challenges, tech reviews, let's plays, and other content from these sorts of generic online genres that have already been done to death. Though competently made, there just really isn't a whole lot of reason to watch these videos over the thousands of other Youtube movie reviewer type channels. The only ones that ever topped the Microwave show for views were the ones that used unabashed egregious clickbait. Even now these remain the most popular videos ever uploaded to his channel.

Ver archivo adjunto 4382264
The microwave show was Jon's bread and butter for years and was the main thing his channel was known for, so logically when he stopped making it, his channel's view count started declining. Unfortunately, Jon apparently doesn't understand why this happened, and he even made an entire video in 2016 talking about it:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SmItAh3FejY

This video can basically be summed up as 8 minutes of John getting buttmad about people not watching his shit anymore, and then blaming the YouTube algorithm for not jamming his milquetoast movie reviews down the throats of people who clearly aren't interested. He also doesn't do a very good job of hiding his ego, doing things like claiming his content is "objectively better than it's ever been" and that the videos themselves aren't actually part of the problem. He makes this strange argument about channels declining over time and he seems to think he's owed viewership and popularity simply just for being on YouTube for a long while. (Despite also willingly discontinuing the thing that made you popular in the first place) He also does mention the clickbait videos but pretty much handwaves that entirely and just goes "yeah but who can blame me?" before moving on.

And obviously this post wouldn't be complete if I didn't mention his Twitter political sperging. It ebbs and flows depending on where we are in the US election cycle, but it's definitely a regular thing for him to be bitching on Twitter about whatever flavor of the week political thing. Even back in the day he'd sperg at people in his comments section but I can't remember any particular instances of this.

Really, it's just kind of a sad turn for a guy I used to quite like watching when the microwave show was relevant on YouTube. It was a unique, funny, and very well produced show of three bros hanging out and cracking jokes while microwaving random shit. Definitely stood out among the stuff being uploaded at the time. Again, there's no shame in discontinuing the show and wanting to move on, but getting pissy that people aren't sticking around to watch you review capeshit and computer keyboards is pretty pathetic. You made the decision to kill the golden goose, and that's something you're just going to have to deal with. Jon hasn't uploaded anything at all to his main channel in three years now so I guess even he realized that eventually.
wow its actually wild to see this guy again. i used to love the microwave show but even back then he was never the draw when the show ended and it was just him doing boring movie reviews it really became even more obvious how much his channel needed jory and riley for views. he was just the guy behind the camera even though im pretty sure he was on camera in the beginning.

if i recall jory and riley both made their own youtube channels with jory doing stuff like fan mail openings and trying to make newer versions of the microwave show but with throwing stuff off his deck instead and riley tried to do some type of talk show that never really got fully started because he became a dad pretty early in life and seemed more interested in taking care of his kid and getting a real job so he vanished pretty quickly.

i gotta say i do wonder how long the microwave show could have lasted if they had chosen to keep going given how all their lives ended up.

@Tetragrammaton since I can't reply.

I look at deepfakes the same way as porno fanfiction and amateur animated porn. Its harmless fap material that is nigh impossible to stop. There is no "violation" and everyone knows its fake. QT and the rest are just run of the mill e-thot drama whores milking the attention for all its worth, because attention for them does equal more money from simps. They violate themselves on a daily basis streaming after all so they don't actually give a fuck if someone is jerking it to their deepfakes.

There is also the motive no one is talking about, the same motive that causes all these e-thot whores to "forget" to mention or rarely bring up their boyfriends/husbands on stream that no one is willing to talk about in the open. That motive being that the vast majority of their audience, especially the paying simps, have no interest in these e-thots for their personalities, what little of that actually exists. They only want the attention of an attractive women or the fantasy that they could get with such a women. Deepfakes are cheaper, easier and actually do a better job delivering on the fantasy for these simps who will drop their tier 1 subs to spend it on deepfake porn to jerk it to, or just get it for free like a fucking normal person.

That is probably the real reason these thots have been expending so much time and resources to remove deepfakes and drum up enough controversy to get them removed/censored from the internet or to shame those who do make use of them.

Riley has an Instagram that he updates every once in a while, but otherwise doesn't maintain an online presence. His Twitter is dead and his personal Youtube channel doesn't even have any videos on it. He's married with three kids and seems to be a fairly successful martial arts teacher. Nice to see, honestly.

Jory has gone through sporadic periods of uploading shit to his personal channel, the most recent of which was a series of weekly skits he did throughout 2020 about trying to eat persimmons. His other social media accounts are even more dead than Riley's. For the most part, the two of them seem to have moved on from the concept of being an online personality years ago. Pretty interesting to see two people who were popular online ~12 years ago become nobodies again in the present day.

Even when the show was airing it was pretty clear Jory and Riley's humour was the reason people kept showing up. It had that quintessential early YouTube vibe of just being made by a couple of friends who had a camera and wanted to make dick jokes while filming game consoles burning in a microwave.

Jon seems to be the only one who hasn't really moved on, despite having two kids and (presumably) a full-time not-YouTube job. Every once in a while he'll hint in comments or on social media that he's going to return to YouTube Soon™, but he hasn't posted anything since 2019. And speaking of comments, I wish I scrolled down and read some of the ones on the "Where Have The Viewers Gone?" video earlier.

Obviously he hard disagrees because he still thinks his channel "peaked" after the microwave show, which it technically did but only because he started putting ridiculously sexual clickbait thumbnails on his movie reviews. Once people stopped falling for that bullshit he dropped off hard.

Dude in general also comes off like a know-it-all mega douche. Even when people offer genuine advice or explain their reasoning for why they stopped watching, he just acts incredibly condescending, like you've somehow personally slighted him for daring to suggest there are other reasons for his channel's decline. I don't know why he even bothers. These comments all read like they were written by a 14 year old Redditor, not a father in his 30s.

This is something really weird he does sometimes: Come back to comments that don't get a response. It's like he's actively asking for troll comments.
