This is gonna suck. Unless PewDiePie decides to surprise everyone and troll Google by either pulling out of the Rewind or outright trashing the new censorship policies live right in the middle of it, it'll probably be worse than the last one.

Then again, PewDiePie might sign on because he's probably on thin ice as it is and he wants to do everything he can to keep Google from demonetizing or even nuking his channel since SJW's have hated him for a while and that he was named in the Christchurch manifesto because Brenton Tarrant is a pathetic snarky asshole in addition to being a mass murderer.

I'm surprised PewDiePie is even invited to this. He is the biggest YouTube star and probably the only one left who is not a full-on corporate shill or completely demonetized but it's pretty obvious that the only reason why YouTube hasn't gone hard after him is because he's so popular and could end up helping a potential competitor if he decided to abandon the platform completely.

Either PewDiePie is planning another prank like he did with the ADL, or he's trying to keep Google off his ass when the censorship policies get even stricter come next week. Or maybe someone at Google/YouTube decided to strong arm him into attending so they can try and do damage control for this YouTube Rewind after how badly the last one went.

This would be the perfect opportunity for YouTube to do a complete 180 and unban everyone that's been wrongly banned and roll back all the stupid changes they've made to the site over the years; imagine them completely re-writing the TOS so it says something along the lines of 'this is now a free speech platform if you don't like it fuck off'. Now that would be a real rewind. Obviously this won't happen though and it's way too optimistic but hey it's fun to imagine.

at 5:12, Enes Batur. This happened a while ago and I only know about this because youtube (funnily enough) was suggesting me the videos made by the guy who exposed him. Batur got incredibly asshurt at the dude and almost got the guy's channel deleted.
