Ok can someone explain to me how the fuck did I get birthing videos recommended to me? Last time I checked I was watching a mandaloregaming videos without an account in a private tab and when I unchecked a setting on Unhooked (an addon that lets you hide comments, youtube shorts, sidebar and etc.) All I see is like 3 or 5 videos of women giving birth, I mean sure this could be educational if it wasn't for the fact some of those video titles were in fucking hindi.
Did I fucking do something wrong? I never even clicked on any of that shit and all I did was just watch a video about a guy talking about rouge dungeons.

Oh and it seems like youtube has figured out a way to go stop ad blockers (for) now. It usually goes away after refreshing a couple of times but still seems like the vibe coding jeets are now making an effort to make sure you watch 3 ads if you wanna watch a simple video.

edit:Forgot to mention it kicks in when you're signed in which fucking sucks if you read my fucking seethe post about youtube recommendations being fucking shit.

What's your set-up? I haven't seen it yet. I'm signed-in on fire fox and I haven't had any issues with my Ad-block.

I know I'm signed in on firefox. I'm assuming it happened because I was signed in on youtube and it detected it from there. My bad if I didn't answer it properly I'm fucking tired and it's fucking with me tonight.

No problem. I was wondering if it was a browser thing. Maybe they're testing it with only a minority of user's first, before rolling it out? I hope they don't add this bullshit for everyone, the only way to watch age restricted videos' is to sign in.

Jewtube saars seem to be forcing their big ass thumbnails even harder and I had to scour through multiple Reddit threads to make that shit look normal, because many of the solutions simply don't work at all. In the end I got this sorted out and only with uBlock filter rules.
Here's what I ended up with (it makes the main page show 6 videos per row, fixes the sidebar completely and gets rid of shorts):

I feel pretty bad for this guy. I've been subscribed to him for a while because it was a newer channel and I could tell that he was really passionate about his videos. All he wants to do is make educational videos about music and breaking down songs but he can't seem to catch a break because of YouTube's broken copyright system.

TL;DW
In the video, he explains that despite all of his videos being educational, because YouTube can't tell the difference between what counts as Fair Use and since he's still too small to have insider connections, all of his newer videos involving song deep dives are getting demonetized because of copyright claims. It got to the point he had to compromise and do the "5 second" rule for song clips but offer an extended version of the video for Patreon members but even that's not enough now.

Recently he did a video about the song "Beat It" to capitalize on the recent Michael Jackson hype. The song itself is never played and instead isolated stems are used to show key features, and even those stems are only 5 second clips. Yet the video was still flagged days later as being a cover song just because it detected the melody. This means monetization is split 50-50 between the channel and the label even though it's only 20 seconds of music in a 16 minute long video.

It's so ridiculous that the guy is convinced there's someone at YouTube (probably a jeet) manually flagging these music breakdown videos because there's no way an AI would have noticed days after it was uploaded. It's not even worth appealing since the only way the major record labels will take you seriously is if you hire a lawyer to file a claim for you. So now he's forced to give up doing these types of videos that include long sections of recorded music because it's not even worth the effort just to keep his channel viable and prevent having his ad revenue be taken because he played 3 seconds of a song on a video that took a week to produce.

Youtube is so shit when it comes to music in general. You can make an original composition and it'll STILL get flagged because it somehow, someway, relates to something else. Either their automated system is so shit, or copyright trolls are just that rampid.

I knew that add on had a setting for that, but I could never find it. And now that I'm playing with it, it seems like I get a gap after the 9th thumbnail on my Subscriptions page, but no gaps after that if I scroll down further and the Element Zapper on uBlock doesn't detect anything to get rid of. It's probably relating to the filter I put in uBlock for the Most Relevant row or something.

It's hard to keep up with all the changes Youtube makes. I blocked a lot of Youtube elements in uBlock when I first installed it years ago and it took me a while to figure out which filter was responsible for specific things like being able to see the transcript or the "share" popup.

Either their automated system
A couple of years ago I wanted to re-upload some stuff, kept it on private, sort of like an online storage. That stuff at that point has been re-uploaded by multiple users over the years, all just for archival purposes. My uploads got flagged as spam and my entire YouTube account got taken down. Appeal got denied but after half a year I tried the appeal again and lo and behold it got reinstated. Got a shitty apology from YouTube. Their entire automated system for flagging and reviewing cases is a broken mess without any supervision.

The fact it was only taken down EIGHTEEN years later really highlights just how quickly our culture and internet went down the shitter.
This plus Jeets + AI.

Other than that this age is for sure the most cringe, zoomer and full of a mix of lolipedos, sexpest, troons and grifters even.

Can't make a boar joke because next thing you know is that they celebrate your firing from that lol. or mention taiwan as your viewerbase % because all hell will go against you for daring to believe taiwan is a country.

But i guess the most shitty are the grifters and political vtumors in my honest opinion.
