I would say this was a backlog video, something he filmed a while ago so he could release something while on a break, say while recovering from a near death experience and spending time home with his very young child, but he was in India like a month ago so that isn’t it.

Having a backlog is normal, but he doesn’t use it like he describes in this comment.
He specifically mentions his heart failure and his daughter, but you can see he wasn’t really uploading any of his backlog through that heart crisis, which I don’t care if he uploads or not during that he should do whatever he needs, but it’s not what he said in his comment.

I liked his videos, but him continuing the same kind of content after having a baby really irked me. Like just become a cave diver at this point. Doing this kind of risky behavior with a baby at home is usually only socially acceptable if it is the only thing you can do for money. He runs a million sub channel with several merch runs and partnerships. He cannot be financially destitute enough to NEED to be traveling internationally to the most dangerous locations he can. If he mismanaged his money that badly I will be forced to assume he really does have a drug problem after all.

Not even going to dangerous areas, but just leaving on trips for work when you don’t have to feels weird to me. Both my parents had demanding jobs when I was born, but my dad could work from home with a flexible schedule, so he stopped traveling for work entirely and stayed home to take care of me. I would think that with Brandon’s whole upload schedule based around maintaining a backlog he would be doing that.
